This is how we know that the yom mentioned in the creation week are not literal 24 hour days.

We have discussed this matter and have come to the conclusion that you are incorrect.  God said "Let there be light" and there was light.  You contend that there was no light because the source is not exactly the same as we see it today.

Sorry, you're wrong.

I am trying to unravel this nonsense you wrote.

Can you explain the light that shone for three "days" before the creation of our local star the Sun??

Absolutely.  God said "Let there be light and there was light.  The Bible doesn't tell us what it was made of, but it's very likely it was a star, like our sun is today.  It is also very likely that this became the source of the formation of the universe, since the "Big Bang" describes the event on day four.  It is also possible that it was in much the same location as the star we call the sun.  Regardless of its location, the rotation of the earth would cause an evening and morning just as the other light source did on day four.  This really isn't difficult.  It's in the book.

I have never written that the Earth was not created in fullness by God.

The issue is six 24 hour days versus six periods of time.

Let's play your game.  Each period of time was a thousand years.  500 years of light, things flourish.  500 years of darkness, everything dies.  Were the days 24 hours?  Probably a little less since the earth's rotation is slowing, but still one full rotation of the earth.

Yes, the sixth day.  That's why we should work six days and rest on the seventh.  Remember, when used as a numbered day or with evening and morning, Yom means a single solar day every time without exception.

The issue is that Adam was formed (and then Eve) and separated from all others in the garden after the 7th yom - the eighth day so to speak which correlates to eight souls being saved through the Flood.

All what others?  I hate to break it to you but the Bible doesn't say how long after creation the fall came.  It's very unlikely that it happened on day eight.  The flood came MUCH later.  Noah came ten generations after Adam.  Abraham came ten generations after Noah.

The issue is that Cain did not marry his sister (no scripture supports this vile notion) and that he indeed went to the land of Nod and there he took a wife.

The Bible doesn't clarify who she was.  However, the Bible doesn't prohibit the marrying of close relatives until the time of Moses.  People used to for live several hundred years before Noah's time.  It was a different world then,

A Picard facepalm would not be out of place either.

God created these life forms first where they were already living, they didn't evolve.

As you just learned, life came from non-living matter, according to God.   You should believe Him.

And your idea of how that happened is not scriptural.  It's your addition to scripture.

No, you have assumed that it's incorrect.  We have shown that you are wrong.   As you learned, Hebrew requires a sun to have mornings and evenings by defnition.   This is how the text itself tells us that those days were not literal ones.

Rather, scripture says there was no sun.   And as you now see, literal mornings and evenings require a sun to have them.  Which is how we know they aren't literal mornings and evenings.

Your non-scriptural assumption that there was another star where the sun is now, is merely an attempt to add to God's word, and makes no sense at all scientifically.

I do not have any problem with theistic evolution but I do have problems with Francis Collins when he removed the restrictions on the research for this virus.
