  1. The best advice I could give is, "love your neighbour as yourself". It's the 2nd commandment after all. Jesus wouldn't have said that if he didn't mean it.
  2. What it is is very very old language used for farmers in the middle east.
  3. "I have come to give you live, and to give it to you more abundantly". The concept of Christian suicide is an oxymoron!
  4. God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. Obviously God has always been in people's lives. But Jesus taught that you should seek for God, for if you do that you will get everything else you think you "need" in life, abundantly thereafter. Why did Jesus tell you to seek for God if God was always there in your life before you even knew it? Hindsight isn't always 20/20, because salvation depends upon YOU seeking. There are billions of human beings on this planet that do not seek for God. They are obviously ignorant. Then there are people that have been in crises and cried out to God and God has responded to them. But they stop there and don't go further, they consider it a done deal and don't have to continue to strive to know God continuously as a real supernatural experience and relationship that is ongoing. They get stuck in theology and dogma, and never progress spiritually.
  5. God created these life forms first where they were already living, they didn't evolve.
  6. There are several different usages for the word "atheist". Giving only one definition is not the scientific thing to do. Leah.
  7. If you can define the word troll properly, I think I will have something to say about it. If a troll, to you, is just someone you disagree with on a subject, that is an entirely different thing. You should be careful you aren't calling people you disagree with "trolls" if they don't fit the dictionary definition of an internet troll.
  8. You demonstrated the point perfectly I think. You said the readers need to be more astute. No they don't.
  9. TO me, an atheist can be a Christian or a non Christian, anybody that argues instead of loving. Jesus said that God does not extend his grace to people that fail to love their neigbours. Jesus had to say that several times too. It bears regarding.
  10. Christians on the whole are better behaved online than non-believers, I think that is true. But it really aches my heart when I see Christians being nasty to fellow Christians. We have been given a New life by God and therefore we are on a higher standard in the eyes of the world. If we act just like the world does, what does that say about us and our relationship with God?
  11. So you officially don't believe in Eternal security or assurance of being saved, you think you could go to hell when you die? If you say "no" and you don't explain how Jesus can't lose anybody the Father gave to him, you might be confused?
  12. It shouldn't be,unless you think I am a sexist misogynist, instead of a normal human being.
  13. OBVIOUSLY. THe extent of your forethought is mindblowing.
  14. I don't, as a rule, read too far into your posts that are full of writing (it seems in excess) when you get it wrong the first few times. I simply just don't want to read more of "I am wrong" in your rants and diatribes against me. You did say that arguing is a good thing. Don't try to backtrack and claim that isn't verbatim what you said. It doesn't work like that. You are the perfect example of a Christian arguing with another Christian. Keep it up.
