I don't think Italy is powerful enough politically to be much of a threat to little horn, however French Leader Chirac may be an "opposing" power focus that needs to be eliminated for little horn to increase his power base to the point were he is able to take control for them.

As I have said elsewhere I am new to this and could be completely off base...what do you think?

Hi Kevin,

Of the 10 nations, Italy is among the big 5, which would put it in the class of partly iron, and not partly clay. Also, it should be noted too, that without Italy, there would be no Rome. And without Rome, there would have never been a Roman Empire and no Vatican.

I too, have a strong hunch that France, along with Germany will be two of the three that will need to be subdued, but things are happening very quickly, and sometimes things change. It may be a sudden surprise, who knows? Keep watchin'!

The time is near and Christians are to be rising up and declaring truth and working in what God has called us to do!!!!! He has been quickening the hearts and Holy Spirit inside many believers I know, that there is yet another great evangelistic time, or event coming that will allow more evangilism (kinda like, it will worse in the world before it gets better!) before the coming of our Lord!!! Come Together

It's still hard for me to believe what's happening. The Madrid bombings sure got things rolling in Javier Solana's direction.

According to this report, not only have the EU heads agreed to have their new, super EU constitution by June, they have asked Solana to tell them how they can integrate the intelligence of the member states within the Council. A friend called and said she found something interesting. She said she stumbled on a report in Spanish (I don't have the link) that said the new socialist government in Spain had offered Solana the job of Spanish Foreign Minister. And according to the report, Solana told the EU heads either they give him the job of Commission President, or the new EU Foreign Minister, otherwise he would go home to Spain and accept the offer. The report was dated March 20. On March 25, it was announced agreements were reached in Brussels to grant Solana sweeping new powers to combat terrorism.

This is what I think: The bombings in Madrid broke the deadlock over the constitution and the new, super EU is a done deal. I also suspect Solana may already have the job as the EU's new Foreign Minister.

All this reminds me of the popular Beatles song, Come Together. It also reminds me of something in my book. At the beginning of the chapter titled, Introducing Mr. Europe, I quote J. Dwight Pentecost, past president of Dallas Theological Seminary. Pentecost said:

The time will come when the nations of Europe will say to one man, "You take authority over us."

Is this what we're now seeing? Are the leaders of Europe coming together over Solana? And will they soon say, "You take authority over us."

Wow! Things are happening so fast. I almost can't believe this report. In fact I don't, I have a hunch that there is a little scheming going on here, almost like bribery. First, I don't believe that all 25 nations will be able to agree on the new Constitution of Rome, at least not anytime soon, and here is why:

Daniel 2:41-44 - " Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever."

Second, I don't believe the EU will have a president that they will elect, because scripture shows another picture. This is where I believe Recommendation 666 will come into play. I'll give a little scenario after this passage.

Daniel 11:21-24 - "In his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.

22 "The overflowing forces will be flooded away before him and shattered, and also the prince of the covenant.

23 "After an alliance is made with him he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with a small force of people.

24 "In a time of tranquility he will enter the richest parts of the realm, and he will accomplish what his fathers never did, nor his ancestors; he will distribute plunder, booty and possessions among them, and he will devise his schemes against strongholds, but only for a time."

A possible scenario:

The Constitution of Rome can not be official until (all 25 nations ratify it), which could very easily take years, and especially with all the laws and agreements that are contained in this lengthy proposal. If all 25 heads of state agree and sign the document, then each of the 25 must then take it back to their own nations, where it must be voted on by a majority of every single one of the 25 nations, good luck. It only takes one to ruin it for all 25, yikes! I'd even say that it would almost take a miracle for the EU to have a new Constitution in June, or even this year. And even if they did agree on it, the wording says that the new President will be voted on in 2006 if I remember correctly.

However, if there should arise an international emergency, Recommendatrion 666 gives emergency powers to Solana. They may not be able to agree on much, but all 15 current EU member nations have already agreed to this; and without a constitution, the 10 new nations who will join in just over a month, these ten will have no say at all in the matter. I believe this is what we will eventually see, but it also makes me wonder what the emergency will be. Could it be a major terrorist attack, the rapture, Ezekiel 38, all of the above or any number of other possibilities? I know one thing is for certain, the world is headed for an hour of testing, and it will be a trap for all who don't love the truth. But I'm glad that I'm no longer part of this evil world.

Wow!!!!!

It's hard to believe that this seems so plain.....it almost seems as though it couldn't really be so. Just because it really just seems so obvious to me when I read these things!!!~ Why does it seem like most christians aren't getting it? It's as though no one even checks it out????? You know? I don't understand that. I'm not judging or anything!!!~ It's just that come on!!!!~ RECOMENDATION 666!!!~ You would think that would have about all christians talking!!!!!~ Or at least taking notice!!!!~ That couldn't be much more blatant!!!!!! Anyway~ I must admit.......selfishly, I would love that next event to be the Rapture!!!!! I just can't wait to see Jesus!!! I probably sound like a weirdo.....but, It will just be so incredible.........but, I don't want some of the people I know to go through the tribulation and I hate to think of the unsaved.....and the ones that will never come to Christ!!!!!! :x: But, I too think that something big will happen to "kick start" the actual need for these countries to rely on him. Unless~ it really is years and years away.

I don't get that part? First....a time of tranquility? IF another bombing happened...this would not be tranquil, or if the rapture happened? Not in the least bit tranquil. Also.....seize the kingdom by intrigue? ~ Meaning what? That people will just be really "taken" by him? Very in " awe" of him?

Well, I think the intrigue is happening in the fact that he is placing himself in the position of authority.

I worry that we maybe falsely accusing Mr. Solana though, but it does seem to fit.

If you want to create a new world order, you couldn't have asked for anything better than a global war against terror. It's almost as if terrorist leader Bin Laden was made to order -- to NWOrder.

As you probably know by now, British authorities have arrested a group of young men who were preparing a large attack somewhere in the UK. Although the same motive is thought to be behind the Madrid bombings, the report says the group captured in the UK isn't believed to have links to the Madrid bombers.

Nevertheless, for students of Bible prophecy it's hard to avoid suspecting links -- if not in the physical realm, at least in the spiritual. That's because the Bible tells us, in the last-days, 10 kings will arise in Western Europe. One will arise after them who will lead a revival of the old Roman Empire. And on his rise to power, he will subdue three of the 10 kings.

Like I've been reporting, the Madrid bombings removed a pro-American king and replaced him with an anti-American king. And, there just happens to be two more pro-American kings in the 10 nation alliance -- Tony Blair and Silvio Berlusconi.

Will they be next? If so, terror leader Bin Laden will have done much to help build the foretold new world order of the coming Antichrist.

Yes indeed, it's hard not to think Bin Laden was made to order.

Anti-semitism rises in Europe

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Anti-semitic attacks in Europe have risen substantially over the last few years, according to a new report published on Wednesday (31 March).

The report, published by the EU's anti-semitism body (EUMC), points to five EU countries as having the most significant rises in anti-semitic acts.

Of these five - France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK - France has seen the biggest increase with almost six times as many incidents in 2002 than in the previous year.

Presenting the findings to the European Parliament, the head of the EUMC Beate Winkler said, "Europe has a problem with anti-semitism" adding that "it has been getting worse over the past two to three years".

"Although it is not easy to generalise, the largest group of perpetrators ... appears to be young, disaffected white Europeans", notes the report which looked at incidences in the 15 current EU member states.

"A further source of anti-Semitism in some countries was young Muslims of North African or Asian extraction. Traditionally anti-Semitic groups on the extreme right played a part in stirring opinion", it said.

Responding to the report, European Parliament President Pat Cox said, "The evidence presented today indicates that incidents of anti-Semitism in Europe are on the increase and suggests that events in the Middle East are disturbing the social fabric of European society".

The cancer is back

Cobi Benatoff, head of the European Jewish Congress, said it was unfortunate that anti-semitism is being debated today and that it has not been "relegated to history".

"The old cancer is back", he said.

Mr Benatoff noted that there were "some contradictions" between the report published today and one leaked earlier in the year which found that Muslims had committed the most anti-semitic acts - however he said only that the report would be examined carefully.

This earlier report was shelved after staff at the centre questioned the definition of anti-semitism and its focus on Muslim perpetrators.

Not everywhere

However, the picture was not so bleak in all countries. The report showed that in countries such as Finland, Ireland and Portugal there were either very low or no instances of anti-semitic acts while in Greece, Austria, Italy and Spain, instances were rare.

There were also recommendations including "encouraging intercultural and interfaith dialogue" and setting up "efficient data collection systems" to record anti-semitic incidences.
