Matthew 24:28 "Two shall be in the field, the one taken, the other left. And they asked Him; Where Lord? And He answered: Wheresoever the bodies are there will the birds be gathered together." Luke 17:36-37 They will be, left, for the birds, is what He is saying. "The marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready... To you who fear my name shall the Son of righteousness arise... the wicked shall be ashes under your feet in the day that I do this says the Lord. Malachi 4:3-4 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the sky; come and gather yourselves unto the supper of the great God. ..the rest were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded from His mouth, and all the birds were filled with their flesh." Revelation 19:7-21 The one taken is a saint, 1 Thess 4:15-17 is describing it. We are taken up to be part of the resurrected army mentioned in Ezekiel 37:9-10, Jude 1:14-15 and Revelation 19:14. Taken to be literally up in the sky, in the clouds, watching the vengeance unfold. Actually it is not even related at all and the meaning has nothing to do with being raptured, but still many Christians either ignore that fact or just don't think it's relevant and simply go with what they have always been taught without even questioning it? Elijah and Enoch were raptured. If Jesus doesnt take his church before tribulation. Then what the bible says about receiving rewards at Jesus judgement and the reign on earth wouldnt make sense. Its like evangelist Robert Breaker said, why would Jesus allow satan to rule over His people and essentially take His bride and do what them what He wants when the antichrist comes on the scene. God cannot deal with His people the jews if the gentiles are still around. The rapture is a reward for faithfully serving Christ and a opportunity to be rewarded.
