I could wax poetic regarding what I have seen and heard over the years. First, I was horrified... then, I despaired... which eventually gave way to smoldering wrath. I said to the Lord, "Lord, how I despise evil religion! I have tried and tried, but I cannot stomach the doublemindedness, the hypocrisy, the gossip, how they lionize evil men, and how so many gnash their teeth upon the meek. Why should I have anything to do with them? I prefer the violence of these streets to the insolence of their manicured lawns!" What did the Lord say to this? Have mercy upon them, just as I have been merciful toward you. He was handed a great economy that his administration added more fuel to. However, the current inflation issue is a result of the global pandemic to a great degree. It starts and when it starts rolling, it waylays what would otherwise grow into an edifying discussion about our need to be merciful toward others and forgive them.
