They Were Scared of JESUS and His Wisdom = Matthew 22;46, Mark 11;18

 

 

Matthew 22;46

And no man was able to answer Him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask Him any more questions.

 

Mark 11;18

And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy Him: for they feared Him, because all the people was astonished at His doctrine.

 

Mark 12:34

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, He said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask Him any question.

 

Luke 20:39-40

Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said. And after that they durst not ask Him any question at all.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. And in the day time He was teaching in the temple; and at night He went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. And all the people came early in the morning to Him in the temple, for to hear Him.

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill Him; for they feared the people. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
