And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. ——————————————— Has anyone seen how material ascends into heaven in a cloud from a nuclear explosion? It sucks everything up into the heavens and it casts back down to the earth. Stones that weigh 100 pounds can get cast back down to earth from the cloud. Now a hard-hitting message will be declared. The Bible likens this message as to “hailstones”-a simile-referring to a proclamation of God’s heavy verbal judgments against Satan’s wicked system. They are yet another result of the power in the abomination that causes desolation. A great amount of material ascends into heaven when it is placed. It then comes crashing down upon the earth in the form of hail. Here is a video of the abomination that causes desolation. You can see the material ascending into heaven in this video. Much debri from the city of Jerusalem will ascend into heaven in a cloud. Not just Jerusalem but other cities also. Damascus comes to mind as well. First, the weight of a talent, which is the proper word used, not pounds, is between 56 and 66 pounds, depending on which measure you take. The Greek is 56.9 pounds.
