Who has a favorite Psalm?

Psalm 139 is definitely one of my go to Psalms.

To get started, Psalm 23 ties in so well with John 10: the Shepherd and the good Shepherd. (Hebrews 13 speaks of 'the Great Shepherd'.)

@Annette It's the Messianic content and the record of very broad human experience and emotion that probably make the Psalms beloved so widely.

@Annette Verse 16 reminds me of Ephesians 1, in terms of the Lord's eternal purposes in Christ for the believer: "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."

As a book of the Bible there is so much in the Psalms that is rich and memorable...............

We rely on the Psalms for so many things, prayers, praise, wisdom, and promises. 

I call Psalm 21 my highest praise Psalm, because it exalts the Gospel of Christ, 

presenting His Glory in breath-taking ways. My favorite verse is:

I too have too many favorites. Here’s just one of them. 
 

A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
