I had open heart surgery and I also believed that if my time was up, then I would go to be with the Lord....my surgery wasn’t without complications, but, I’m here to tell the tale.

God was in that situation, I even told a few patients about God being with me throughout my time in hospital.....

When God calls you home, it’s a done deal, that is my belief.

edit to add, I also had the top surgeon who performed the operation, one of the most humble men I have ever met....he has since retired I believe, from The Brompton hospital in London.

:amen: It's actually a great privilege to be Entrusted by the Lord that we will take hold of every opportunity to Testify of His Goodness & Mercy, after all we Remain above the ground and have Known for what Purpose we have experienced such things- "what was meant for evil"

Like you- Grateful God Has Used me and Carried us every step of the WAY- shout HALLELUYAH and Give to Him what is His Alone- All the Glory,Honor,Praise and our ThanksGiving!!!!

Tell it Sister👍❤️

Would we agree we have free will, is that in our DNA? If I desire to place my hand on a burning red-hot stove I can, but what stops me from doing so? That is a choice that carries consequences.

Is there a genetic marker for people to be born a serial murderer, a pedophile, a rapist? I think not, those are thought-out actions, premeditated usually, and all are choices. I had no choice in my stature, eye color, gender, race, susceptible to various diseases, etc. Those are examples of genetics being passed down generationally.

God knows us even before we were born, He makes no mistakes in the womb.

Open heart ouch I'm sure the recovery took a bit?

I had a TVAR procedure at 52 I got lucky it was available to younger patients. from out the operating room to the next day walking out the hospital. though they keep me for a week before the operation.

Was it keyhole surgery?

My friends friend had keyhole surgery, the surgeon nicked her heart and of course she died, such a sad time that was.

Always best to pray and ask the Lord to give the surgeon steady hands.

But if the Lord wants to call you....maybe it was His Will anyway.

"Blessed be the Name of the Lord".

That's wild! Medical Science has taught us so much about ourselves.

I believe that God made us inquisitive to the point of exhausting our

imagination. and that our only obligation is to continue to worship

the Creator, and not the created. I personally believe that all modern

technology is once forgotten memories of what man was originally

gifted with at creation.

Definitely worship the creater, I don't think there is a limit on human imagination, God did create man in His likeness. As far as what man's ability and technology they had in the beginning like replacing heart valves wasn't a thought of Adam and Eve they couldn't even make their own clothes. Replacing a set of lungs would of been extremely difficult.

Nor would there have been a need. I am referring to especially electrical /

electronic technology, to "see" or "speak" over great distances, i.e.

radio and television. As to medical imaging, it is not out of the realm

of possibility that some were gifted to see others "within" there body

as in medical imaging. "Why did you swallow that whole boy?" LOL

Just riffing for fun, don't take me too seriously, unless I am quoting

scripture, at which I am life or deathly serious, and so are my words.

Rgr that brother, technology pretty much advanced quickly in the those days the descendants of Cain knew chemistry how to make bronze etc. built city's made musical instruments. It's really not completely known what they knew of technology. surely they knew enough to do the things in the bible its not out of the realm of long distance communication.
