A Swedish hunter was knocked unconscious after his son shot a flying Canadian goose which then fell onto his head, news agency TT reported on Wednesday.

I wonder if that's included in the Huntering Hazards Handbook!

Oh, I'm glad to hear that they know what killed it, I was wondering when I read the headline what killed it in the air that it did that.

About 6 years ago I had just started a new job as a Data Warehouse Architect at a fortune 500 company. It was my first day on the job, so I left plent early to make a good initial impression. I was tooling down the highway when I heard a pretty good explosion hit the side of my car. I felt glass hit the back of my head and when I put my hand back there I was covered in blood. There was also a ton of blood and fleshy matter on the inside of my windshield.

I pulled over at the first exit I could, because I thought I might be injured and in shock. I noticed that the passenger window behind the drivers side was blown out. I also noticed feathers were floating in the car. When I looked in the very back (it was a station wagon) there was a heart, lungs, liver and 2 goose feet.

It seems that a goose was attempting a landing at a lake near the highway and broadsided my car. He hit the rear passenge window on the drivers side. When the glass broke, it cut him open down the middle and his innards shot into my car. The back windows were completely coated in blood and gunk.

My new work place thought it was hysterical. I had to visit three body shops before I could find one that would take on the cleaning.

That is my goose story
