WorthyNews:Ex-South Carolina Governor Haley Challenging Trump

WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is challenging her one-time boss Donald J. Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

She released a video Tuesday confirming her plans. “I’m Nikki Haley, and I’m running for president,” said Haley, who was also Trump’s former United Nations ambassador.

The 51-year-old’s run breaks her promise two years ago not to challenge the ex-Republican president for the White House. Analysts say her attempts to become America’s first female president could increase Trump’s re-election chances.

A Yahoo News/YouGov websites poll found DeSantis had a 45-41 percentage-point lead over Trump one-on-one.

But with Haley entering, the poll cast her as a spoiler, finding that she drew 11 percent.
It showed that DeSantis’s support would decrease to 35 percent should Trump come out on top with 38 percent.

Yet Haley defended her decision, saying recently that the country’s economy was too distressed for her to stand by.

She stressed that the United States needed a new generation of leaders as President Joe Biden is 80 and Trump 76.

Trump, seemingly realizing that his chances to be re-elected would increase, met news of Haley’s plans to run for the White House relatively cordially.

Trump recently said he welcomed the competition from Haley, who called him about launching her presidential campaign. “Look, you know, go by your heart if you want to run … You should do it,” Trump claimed he told her.

He had been tougher with the apparently popular DeSantis reportedly saying he would consider it “very disloyal” for DeSantis to run against him.

I won't vote for her... mainly because she promised not to. Where I come from someone Is only as good as their word...if she can't be trusted to keep her promise not to run, how can we trust her to keep any of her other promises?

Honestly, Ill admit, that while being a trump supporter, I'm actually hopeful that Desantis starts gaining ground. I think he'd make an excellent president.

I have no idea who this woman is. I'm a Trump supporter, but I would vote for DeSantis if he runs. I love what he's doing to Florida and would love to see him do it to the whole country.

Lol I love the sarcasm. But, to quote a TV doctor, "everybody lies" 

And that includes Trump. Trump's no beacon of rightousness...he's egotistical, proud, foul mouthed, and yes, a bully.

But he also managed to keep more campaign promises then he broke, and actually had the economy getting stronger, unlike the tyrant who is in office right now. I have no doubt Trump had ulterior motives and his own agenda, but his agenda was good for America, while Bidens agenda seems to be to destroy it.

With that said I feel Desantis would make a better choice in 2024, but trump getting back in wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I've been listening to a pretty fascinating podcast talking about the history and development of the "New Apostolic Reformation" which had strong ties to the early adoption of Trump as the new "Cyrus" (this predates his nomination). The idea that a pagan can be an anointed king to champion Christians in the USA.

I had heard this Cyrus talk with respect to Trump in connection with the official move of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, but not that it was from a specific prophecy/vision of a particular person before his presidency.

Lol tell me, does taking my words and twisting them to say what you want them to say make you feel better inside? 

Furthermore do you think it somehow makes you right, that somehow it justifies your position, which you really haven't stated other then orange haired man is bad?
