Animal lover that she is, Debby Cantlon didn't think twice when someone asked if she could take in an orphaned newborn squirrel and nurse it back to health.

Awwww... that's sweet

At the wildlife sanctuary I worked at, there was a rat that mothered some mice and even a wild field mouse that was orphaned. She wasn't even in an eclosed caged- she would roam around and always come back to care for the kids lol.

Awww how cute...This animal lover would do the same thing if needed. I have a picture in my favroites of a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog ( I had one) who nursed a orphaned fawn back to health. She stayed with the little deer, nursed it and slept with it until it was strong enough to be turned over to a wild life reserve. God takes care of all His creatures.

 aww that was sweet :)

I have raised squirrels...two of them...got them and their eyes were still closed and their tail almost bald :o Named them Bonnie and Clyde...and yepp its all fun and love until one of them decided to jump from the couch onto dads belly (him without a shirt on) Oh the yell that came from him :) Swinging from lampshades, chewing all wood in the house, stealing our dogs dogfood and stuffing it in the weirdest places...bouncing on your chest in the morning for attention and a cuddle :) Oh what am I complaining about...it was wonderful, and I would do it all over again. Praise God dad always let me keep my stray critters

Love and Blessings,

Angel
