To put and detonate a nuclear weapon "in the holy place" in Jerusalem would utterly destroy the city, something which is never prophesied for the End Times; quite the contrary.

I Agree 100%, the scripture below concerning Daniel's AOD describes (The Overspreading Of Abominations) it depicts multiple abominations "Plural", and this will make it desolate

Daniel 9:27KJV

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Trump gives Israel a host, please explain?

Not unlike the host the US has given several other countries.

This is an outdated source.Afganistan is no longer part of this list.

The five countries with the largest active-duty U.S. military presence in 2016 were Japan (38,818), Germany (34,602), South Korea (24,189), Italy (12,088) and Afghanistan (9,023). Of the top five countries, Afghanistan is the only one in open conflict, an issue that President Donald Trump addressed in a speech Monday.Aug 22, 2017

The entire promised land will be desolate.

I expect more than one abomination to be used.May even be more than one used in Egypt. No one will be able to live there for 40 years.

Whomever the Lord gives rain to will not burn on that day.Everyone else in Jerusalem will burn while they are standing on their feet. They will be instantly consumed.

By the fire of the Lord, not a nuclear blast, which would kill the evil and the good both.

Can you think of anything the armed forces use that causes a greater tribulation than anything the world has ever seen including the Hiroshima bomb?

Certainly: the complete collapse of civil order, including electrical grid, banking, food delivery, etc., combined with plagues and quakes; in short, everything prophesied in Matt. 24 and the seals of Rev. 6.

I Agree 100%

Luke 17:29-30KJV

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Jesus, who is the son of God said that the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet had not been set up yet. Here are the words of the son of God.

There had to be one or there would be no example of what to look for when the end time A of D happened.

I have two references for your consideration:

"The old City of David was fortified anew by the Syrians, and made into a very strong fortress completely dominating the city. Having thus made Jerusalem a Greek colony, the king's attention was next turned to the destruction of the national religion. A royal decree proclaimed the abolition of the Jewish mode of worship; Sabbaths and festivals were not to be observed; circumcision was not to be performed; the sacred books were to be surrendered and the Jews were compelled to offer sacrifices to the idols that had been erected. The officers charged with carrying out these commands did so with great rigor; a veritable inquisition was established with monthly sessions for investigation. The possession of a sacred book or the performance of the rite of circumcision was punished with death. On Kislew (Nov.-Dec.) 25, 168, the "abomination of desolation" (http://d3sva65x0i5hnc.cloudfront.net/V01p635001.jpg, Dan. xi. 31, xii. 11) was set up on the altar of burnt offering in the Temple, and the Jews required to make obeisance to it. This was probably the Olympian Zeus, or Baal Shamem.See Abomination of Desolation."

The context of these passages leaves no room for doubt as to what was intended by this somewhat odd expression; namely, the transformation, by Antiochus Epiphanes, of the sacred Temple at Jerusalem into a heathen one. In both Biblical and rabbinical Hebrew abomination is a familiar term for an idol

Scripture says those who recieve rain are not destroyed by the fire.

Are you saying scrpture is wrong?

Also ,you believe God is going to kill all the children who don't receive rain ?

So you believe Hiroshima didn't experience any of those things?

Jesus didn't say there needs to be an example.Jesus only spoke of one abomination that causes desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel.

Jesus didn't speak of the abomination of desolation spoken of by the Pharisees.Jesus did not instruct anyone to believe the abomination of desolation to he Pharisees taught of.Only the prophet Daniel.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
