THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING

Beloved ones, we heard:

 

“the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

How we may know what is the hope of His calling ? 

 

This also, we heard in the book of Ephesians :

 

“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in ONE HOPE OF YOUR CALLING;”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

That we may know the hope of His calling, for there is ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST and ONE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH even as we are called in one hope of our calling.

How we may understand the hope of His calling, for there is ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST and ONE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH even as we are called in one hope of our calling ? 

 

This, we heard:

 

“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that ONE BODY, being many, are ONE BODY: so also is Christ.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“For by ONE SPIRIT are we all baptized into ONE BODY, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into ONE SPIRIT.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“For the body is not one member, but many.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

““If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?”

“If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?”

“But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.”

“And if they were all one member, where were the body?”

“But now are they many members, yet but ONE BODY.”

“And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.”

“Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:”

“and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.”

“For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

 

That we may know the hope of His calling, for there is ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST and ONE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH even as we are called in one hope of our calling, for as the body is one, have many members, and all the members of that ONE BODY, being many, are ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST.

 

For the body is not one member, but many, for now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him, for now are we many members, yet but ONE BODY, for God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Now we are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

 

For by ONE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH are we all buried into ONE BODY,THE BODY OF CHRIST through baptism, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free；

 

“and that he might reconcile both ( Jews and Gentiles ) unto God in ONE BODY by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and came and preached peace to Gentiles which were afar off, and to Jews that were nigh. For through Him we both have access by ONE SPIRIT unto the Father.”

‭‭[Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬]

 

“For as many of us as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus. And if we be Christ's, then are we Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

“Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

and have been all made to drink into ONE SPIRIT, that we have been all made to be filled with THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

 

“That we be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to ourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting ourselves one to another in the fear of God.”

‭‭[Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬]

 

that we have been all made to be filled with THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH: 

 

that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 

but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is THE HEAD, even Christ: from whom THE WHOLE BODY fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of THE BODY unto the edifying of itself in love.

 

“And let the peace of God rule in our hearts, to the which also we are called in ONE BODY, THE BODY OF CHRIST; and be we thankful.”

To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ.

That we may know the hope of His calling, for there is ONE BODY,THE BODY OF CHRIST and ONE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH even as we are called in ONE HOPE of our calling, that is, one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in us all.
