This morning I meditate this verse:

“So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice,

And wait on your God continually.”

‭‭Hosea‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Beloved ones, — we can’t RETURN without the help of our God. We can’t RETURN without the help of the Son of God.

We can’t RETURN without our Helper, the Holy Spirit.

Here, we are told not wait FOR

but to wait ON continually. WAIT FOR means to wait for someone, but wait on means to serve.

So we are told to serve God continually by observing mercy and justice !

As I meditate, I ponder what has been spoken before this verse:

““Ephraim feeds on the wind,

And pursues the east wind;

He daily increases lies and desolation. Also they make a covenant with the Assyrians, And oil is carried to Egypt.

“The Lord also brings a charge against Judah,

And will punish Jacob according to his ways;

According to his deeds He will recompense him.

He took his brother by the heel in the womb,

And in his strength he struggled with God.

Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed;

He wept, and sought favor from Him.

He found Him in Bethel,

And there He spoke to us—

That is, the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name.”

‭‭Hosea‬ ‭12:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Paraphrasing for clarity, we heard:

“Ephraim feeds on the wind,

And pursues the east wind;

He daily increases lies and desolation.

Also they make a covenant with the Assyrians,

And oil is carried to Egypt.”

Hosea‬ ‭12:1 NKJV‬‬

As fruitful sons, we should not feed on wind, that is, we should not feed where there is no word of God.

And we should not pursue the east wind, that is, we should not pursue where there is no word of God where we can’t shine.

So exhausted sons feed on where there is no word of God and pursue where they can’t shine.

There, exhausted sons, increase lies and desolation. Whereas the fruitful sons, increase in the truth of God and abundance. Also exhausted sons, make agreement with the unbelief of the unbelievers and their spiritual strength is carried to the house of bondage. While the fruitful sons, make agreement with the Son of God and their spiritual strength in Christ is accepted in Zion, the house of freedom.

Paraphrasing for clarity, we heard:

““The Lord also brings a charge against Judah,

And will punish Jacob according to his ways;

According to his deeds He will recompense him.”

Hosea‬ ‭12:2 NKJV‬‬

So not only Ephraim, but the Lord also brings a charge against Judah,

And will punish Jacob according to his ways;

According to his deeds He will recompense him.

So not only the exhausted sons but also the sons who forget to praise the Lord and who were supplanted according to their own ways; according to his deeds the Lord will recompense them.

But not only the fruitful sons but also to the one who praise the Lord and cling to the Lord Christ Jesus’ ways ; according to their deeds the Lord will reward them.

Paraphrasing for clarity, we heard:

“He took his brother by the heel in the womb,

And in his strength he struggled with God.

Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed;

He wept, and sought favor from Him.

He found Him in Bethel,

And there He spoke to us

That is, the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name.”

Hosea‬ ‭12:3-5 NKJV‬‬

So he took the strong wall by work

in mercy of his brother

and in his own strength he struggled with God. But he who cling to Christ is given the birthright to be children of God by grace in compassion and whoever not rely on his own strength but on God’s strength, thus make peace with God.

For we heard that he struggled with the Angel and prevailed because he wept, and sought favor from the Angel, who is Christ.

So let us return to the Lord with weeping and seek the Lord Jesus Christ’s favor.

So let us find Christ in the house of God and there He spoke to us.

So let us remember what He has spoken to us, that is the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name. So let us call His memorable name, that is, He is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lord God of hosts.

Beloved one, in clarity,

when exhausted or burnt to ashes, we should not feed where there is no word of God and pursue not where we can’t shine. But as fruitful sons, we should feed on the word of God and pursue where we can shine and bear good witness.

And we should not be exhausted sons, but as fruitful sons, we should not forget to praise God and cling to the Lord’s ways, that is, to be merciful, compassionate, slow to anger and rich in grace and truth.

And the Lord will reward us.

There is no need for us to take our birthrights by work of flesh and struggled with God. But we who took Christ, are given the birthrights to be children of God through Him, and through Christ’s strength, we make peace with God.

Let us weep and seek the favor of the Lord through Christ.

Let us find ourselves in union with Christ in the house of God. And there He spoke to us, That is, the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name.

Let us have fond memories of His great mercy and His awesome works, that is, He made us children of the living God through Christ.

Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

‭‭

To God the Father be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen

Proclaim in faith:

As fruitful son, I feed where there is word of God.

And I pursue where I can shine.

Here in the word of God, as the fruitful son, I increase in the truth of God and abundance. As the fruitful son, I make agreement with the Son of God, Jesus Christ and my spiritual strength in Christ is accepted in Zion, the house of freedom.

Amen

For not only the fruitful sons but also to me who praise the Lord and cling to the Lord Christ Jesus’ ways ; according to my deeds the Lord will reward me.

Amen

I who didn’t take the strong wall by work

in mercy of my brother

, for in God’s strength I cling to God. For I who cling to Christ is given the birthright to be child  of God by grace in compassion and I who not rely on my own strength but on God’s strength, thus make peace with God.

Amen

I return to the Lord with weeping and seek the Lord Jesus Christ’s favor.

I find Christ in the house of God and there He spoke to me.

I remember what He has spoken to me, that is the Lord God of hosts. The Lord is His memorable name.

I call His memorable name, that is, He is my Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lord God of hosts.

Amen

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
