For we heard:

“Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest THE GIFT OF GOD, and who it is that saith to thee,

Give me to drink;

thou wouldest have asked of him,

and he would have given thee living water.”

‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Did the woman of Samaria knew THE GIFT OF GOD, that Jesus answered and said to her ?

This we heard:

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We may consider: did the woman of Samaria knew ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD ?

Did the woman of Samaria knew and WHO IT IS  that saith to her,

Give me to drink, that Jesus answered and said to her? Why Jesus said WHO IT IS that said to her ? Why He didn’t say who HE IS that said to her ?

This we also heard:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Did the woman of Samaria knew  THE GIFT OF GOD, the grace by which was she saved through faith; and that not of herself: it is the gift of God?

That we heard and WHO IT IS that said to her, that we understand that Jesus,THE GRACE BY WHICH IS SHE SAVED THAT SAID TO HER.

And WHAT she would have asked of

Him, that Jesus answered and said to her ?

That we heard, that He would have given her LIVING WATER.

WHAT LIVING WATER would  Jesus have given her ?

That we heard, she wouldest have asked of Him, that we may understand she would have asked of Him, the gift of God, the eternal life through Him, the grace by which is she saved and He, Jesus, would have given her living water, that is, the testimony of Him.

For we have also heard our Lord Jesus said:

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For we heard the woman of Samaria that believed on THE TESTIMONY OF HIM.

This we knew that the woman of Samaria believed, for we heard:

“The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?”

‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Likewise, we also heard:

“And many of the Samaritans of that city BELIEVED ON ( THE TESTIMONY OF ) him for the saying of the woman, which TESTIFIED, He told me all that ever I did.”

‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And many more believed because of his own word; and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”

‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭41‬-‭42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let us knew the gift of God, that is, let us knew the eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and Him who the grace by which are we saved that said to us, Give me a drink; that we would have asked of Him, the gift of God, the eternal life through Him, the grace by which are we saved and He would have given us the living water, that is, the testimony of the Son.

For we that believe on the testimony of the Son have everlasting life: and we that believed the Son shall perceive life, that we might know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent, for the pleasure of God abide on us, for we have the testimony of Him.

To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ.

Amen

Let us pray:

Jesus our Lord,

Let me, my wife ( husband) and children knew the gift of God, that is, eternal life through You, for You are the grace by which are we saved, that said to us, Give me a drink.

Jesus our Lord,

we ask of You, the gift of God, the eternal life through You,  the grace by which are we saved, that said to us, Give me a drink.

Jesus, You give us living water, that You give us Your testimony, that we may please Him who sent You, for we believe Your testimony, that You are indeed Christ, the Savior of the world

Amen

Peace to you in Christ, wonderful post, here are a few I will add to yours

Jesus is called that eternal life which was with the Father

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life
which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us )

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true
and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,

and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life

and they are they which testify of me.

That eternal life, which was with the Father

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father
save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

God bless you

Here is the surrounding context of the verses posted

Jesus said, the Father gave them "me"

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

John said,

1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Showing here how Jesus told them to  handled him here

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones,
as ye see me have.

John speaking of him who their hands have handled, called the Word of life

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes
which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

The life was manifested,  is "that eternal life which was with the Father"

1 John 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life
which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us )

"that eternal life which was with the Father" and manifested to them is His Son Jesus Christ who they bare record of.

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us:
and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
