We do not receive eternal Salvation.

Was this just an error or did you intend to say it the way you did. Receiving salvation is receiving eternal life, and the two go together. That's why one needs saved only once, same as the Lord Jesus sacrificing "once."

Appreciate your replies, and God bless!

Agree, The bible book of Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians living in Judea. Which is after the death of Christ.  Also must disagree that one can't lose salvation. Salvation is an end result - Matthew 24:13

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8.38-39)

"He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1.6).

The believers who lived in Jerusalem had to abide by the Law of the Land. They were in an awkward situation. They had to continue to live in their Jewish household and abide by the customs of the Jewish community and they had to subject them selves to keeping the Jewish customs to continue to be together with their family.

They had to keep the customs for the other people and not for God.

About the second part in your post the resounding truth is that anyone who dies with the faith of Jesus Christ in his heart is saved and it is impossible to loose his salvation. He will remain in this state Saved for ever.

He has a green light from Jesus Christ and nothing absolutely nothing can make it possible for Jesus to give him the red light. Of course many would like to object and not only the devil but also those who suffer from him and even from some of the righteous believers.

But Jesus has given him the green light because he found faith in him in his heart.

Jesus knows about his anger against him but he also sees his faith in him. Jesus can also sees his anger against God and his anger against religion which may be justified, but ge also can see his faith in him in his heart. And the light will remain green. He did not welcome him with the words that he will welcome a good and faithful servant but he still gives him the green light because he can see the faith in him in his heart. We do not but he does. We judge by what we can see and he judges by what he can see and if he founds faith in him in his heart he will give him the green light.

It is just about the way you said it just happens the moment anyone believes in Jesus Christ. He is Saved. But do we keep in mind that the believers at first came out of Judaism. They were in the family of God the family of Abraham. And then suddenly they were told that God provided the Lamb he had promised to Abraham because God did not promise to Abraham the Lambs of the Sinai Covenant the sacrifices in the Temple by the Priests for the Atonements of sins and sanctification. God knew that the blessing he gave to righteous Abraham was imputed righteousness when Abraham believed in his promises to him in Genesis 15:7. God gave him life with him he did not counted his sins and the sins of his children against them. Till the Law was given which included the sacrifices for their sanctification and their justification.

Abraham was waiting for the Lamb of God through whom all the Nations of the world will be blessed. Abraham understood that the promise Lamb was a reference to someone from him to come. From you all Nation of the world will be bless. Abraham believed that God will provide someone from his family to shed the blood of the Covenant that will include all the Nations of the world...Abraham understood that the Lamb of God is a man who will die to shed the blood of the Covenant to include all the Nations of the world to God. Abraham understood that his Patriarhy will end with the coming of the Lamb of God and he will have to Join him and his children will have to join the King of Kings. The same with John the Baptist who said to Jesus I want what you have. The living King of the wide world family of God sanctified and justified in his blood. The blood of the Slain Lamb of God Jesus Christ.

The point is that the Gospel and the epistles were not written specifically to the children who were born in believing families.

Because those children never were under the Law and we cannot preach the Gospel to them in the same way as when the Gospel was preached to the Jews and the Gentiles of that time. Reminded that we are taking about the children born from believing parents. These children are born to Jesus Christ and we cannot treat them in the same way as the children born to unbelieving parents.

You said ex-Jew's first. Then all Christians. So why not Ex-Gentiles?

@Anne2 A remarkable, radical transformation from the Old Economy right up to John the Baptist to the New Testament order of things: 'all one in Christ Jesus'...

2 Timothy 3:16 states - ALL scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for ALL, therefore that would include the book of Hebrews.
