There is not going to be a nuclear explosion in Jerusalem, which would destroy the city, the temple mount, and everyone within, and make it uninhabitable. Revelation 8:10-11 is talking about a third of the waters of the earth as a whole. The verses appear to be talking about some sort of huge asteroid striking the earth, perhaps breaking up into smaller pieces upon entering the earth's atmosphere. 10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. ---------------------------------------------------------- When Jesus returns in Zechariah 14, in verse 8.... 8And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. The king of the north does not send a great fleet of ships to erect a statue.He is going forth to destroy and innihilate many. Daniel 12:7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.” All these things are completed in 3.5 years is what Daniel 12:7 says. This doesn't sound like a man interested in building a statue.It sounds like a man who wants to kill hundreds of millions of people. If your statue is erected in Daniel 12:1(which you have agreed is when the great tribulation begins) ,then why are the saints killed in Daniel 11:33-35? Are not the saints put to death when they won't worship the image?Why are they being killed 3.5 years before the time you say the image is made? We both agree the abomination of desolation is placed in Jerusalem and the great tribulation is then as Jesus said.I say the abomination that causes desolation is used to destroy and innihilate many as scripture shows in Daniel 11:44. If the great tribulation is at this time as Daniel says in Daniel 12:1,then you must believe this is when the abomination of desolation is used.
