Please stop saying what I believe.    I will say what I believe and you can copy and paste it if you want.   But don't be bearing false witness of what I believe.

The statue image of the beast king that the false prophet has made and setup on the temple mount with trigger the beginning the time period called the great tribulation.

That the statue image of the beast king is the abomination of desolation - was prefigured in Daniel 11:31 by what Antiochus IV did - which was to setup a statue image of Zeus in the temple.

31And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

From the time the abomination of desolation is setup until Jesus's return is 1335 days.   Daniel 12:11-12.

3.5 years is 1260 days.

The day that Jesus returns, these scriptures say what will happen on that day...

  Zechariah 14:1-5.   Revelation 19:11-20:4.   Revelation 14:14-20.   Matthew 24:30b.   Mark 13:26.  Revelation 1:7.  Ezekiel 39:17-21.  Ezkiel 28:17-19.  Daniel 8:25.  Daniel 7:26.  Jude 1:14.   2Thessalonians2:8.

There is not going to be a nuclear explosion in Jerusalem, which would destroy the city, the temple mount, and everyone within, and make it uninhabitable.

PS

Jerusalem will be uninhabitable to everyone who is not saved .All of the water will be poisoned throughout the promised land .Only them who are saved can drink poison and it not hurt them.

Revelation 11

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Revelation 11

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Revelation 8:10-11 is talking about a third of the waters of the earth as a whole.   The verses appear to be talking about some sort of huge asteroid striking the earth, perhaps breaking up into smaller pieces upon entering the earth's atmosphere.

10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

----------------------------------------------------------

When Jesus returns in Zechariah 14, in verse 8....

8And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

You keep saying it triggers great tribulation so you are saying it but you are wrong .A statue does not cause great tribulation. Its utterly ridiculous

I did not say that the abomination of desolation statue image "causes" great tribulation.  "triggers" and "causes" have two different meanings.

For example, in a hundred yard dash race, the starting gun fired "triggers" the beginning of the race.     But the "cause" of the race though is because the event organizers created the event.

Great tribulation for the 1335 days will be because of the wrath of God in the vials, and the judgements of God in the trumpets, and persecutions by the beast-king, and the false prophet, and Satan, and their followers - taking place during the time period called the great tribulation.

The persecution of the saints in Israel starts 3.5 years before the great tribulation caused by the king of the north going forth to destroy and innihilate many.

This is the great tribulation which takes place the same time Christ raises the dead.

Daniel 12:1-2

And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting shame.

The king of the north does not send a great fleet of ships to erect a statue. He is going forth to destroy and innihilate many.

You don't innihilate many by setting up a statue. This is common sense Doug.

Daniel 11:44

44 But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many.

Common sense is your friend . Embrace it.

Most of the first half of the 7 years (the first half of the 7 years is the 1260 days), the world is saying "peace and safety" thinking it has entered the messianic age.   1Thessalonains5:3.

Being a time of false peace and safety, of a false messianic age, of a false messiah the Antichrist, the saints will not be persecuted for most of the first half of the 7 years.

Daniel 12:1-2

The great tribulation is for the last 1335 days of the 7 years.    Daniel 12:1-2 is the great tribulation time period.

At the end of the 7 years, and at the time of Jesus's return, the Jews who turn to Jesus during that time and end up being martyred for their belief will be resurrected back to life in Revelation 20:4-6.   To eternal life.  And will reign with Christ the thousand year millenium.

The Jews who reject Jesus, and die in their sins, will be raised for the GWT (Great White Throne) judgement and be cast into the lake of fire, the everlasting shame of Daniel 12:2.

---------------------------------------------

The battles of Daniel 11:40-44 are at the very end of the 7 years.    The willful king of Daniel 11:36 is the beast-king, as the king of the West, his kingdom that of the EU.    His center of power, however, where he will rule from will be in Jerusalem.

Ruling from Jerusalem, he will be attacked from the south first.   Then the northern king sees what is happening and joins in.    Then the kings of the east also join in - on the attack on the beast-king, king of the West.

It is the prelude to Armageddon.  The armies of the west, south, north, east are drawn into the middle east.

As the battles are taking place, the sixth seal event takes place, and the world sees Jesus in the third heaven before the throne of God, sickle in hand.

It will terrify the wicked men of the earth, and they will council together in Revelation 16:13-16 and band together to assemble their armies at Armageddon in Israel, to make war on Jesus, in a vain hope to keep Jesus from executing judgement on them.

Psalms2:

1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

------------------------

Jude 1:

14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

There is only a time, times and a half for the things Daniel wrote about from Daniel 11:31-daniel 12:2 to be completed. Not 7 years.Again you fail to understand what 3.5 years is.

Daniel 12:7

The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”

All these things are completed in 3.5 years is what Daniel 12:7 says.

So you still believe the king of the north is wanting to erect a statue when he goes in a great rage to destroy and innihilate many?

This doesn't sound like a man interested in building a statue. It sounds like a man who wants to kill hundreds of millions of people.

Daniel 11:44

44 But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many.

If your statue is erected in Daniel 12:1(which you have agreed is when the great tribulation begins) ,then why are the saints killed in Daniel 11:33-35?

Are not the saints put to death when they won't worship the image? Why are they being killed 3.5 years before the time you say the image is made?

No, why would I believe that about the king of north?

The king of the north in Daniel 11:40 is part of a combined attack on the beast-king - king of the West.

Daniel 11:44 is about the beast-king's reaction of being attacked from the north and east.

Because you agreed the great tribulation begins in Daniel 12.

We both agree the abomination of desolation  is placed in Jerusalem and the great tribulation is then as Jesus said.I say the abomination that causes desolation is used to destroy and innihilate many as scripture shows in Daniel 11:44.

Daniel 11:44

44 But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many.

If the great tribulation is at this time as Daniel says in Daniel 12:1,then you must believe this is when the abomination of desolation is used.

Do you still claim a statue will be erected in Jerusalem at this time of great tribulation in Daniel 12:1?
