It is written In Jeremiah 31:31-34 that God will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, “after those days”.  Jesus is the one who brought into force the new covenant, but what I want you to notice is “when” this new covenant is to be made with the house of Israel, which is “after those days.”

It is written in Jeremiah…31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

So what is “after those days”?  We have several other scriptures to prove when this time will happen, and when God shall make a new covenant with the house of Israel “after those days.”

Paul mentions this covenant with Israel shall happen “after the fulness of the Gentiles” is fulfilled in Romans 11:27-25 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”

This prophecy Paul is speaking of is also found in Isaiah 59:18-21 18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. 20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. 21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

This is when God shall put His 2 witnesses (Word and Spirit) “in the mouth” of His anointed priesthood.

The timing of when this would occur is also found in Jesus’ testimony concerning “after the tribulation of those days” (Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24, and in Luke 21:24-25) As this first tribulation was to “the Jews”.  If you will notice “after the fulness of the Gentiles” is fulfilled we see the signs in the sun, moon, and stars, which is confirmed in the 6th seal signs.  So the 6th seal events are like the time marker for when this new covenant with Israel shall be made. And it is also the start point of when God’s cup of wrath is being taken from the Jews, and is to be given to, and poured out on the whole world without measure. (Isaiah 51:22-23)  This begins the time of trouble such as the world has never seen.

I believe that we are given repeating patterns of time in scripture, as it is also written God requires that which is past.(Ecc. 3:15)  This pattern in time is first shown in Jesus’ first coming.  There were 42 generations leading up to the birth of Jesus.  This is a big 42 (sign of time).  During this 42 generations “the law and the prophets prophesied” all the way up to John the baptist, as Jesus said.(Matt. 11-13)  After which Jesus would pick up the torch and preach another 3 and half years, or for a small 42.  After that Jesus would be killed and be raised again after 3 days.

This first big 42 ran from the covenant made with Abraham all the way to the new covenant brought in by Christ; or from one covenant to a new covenant. I believe a similiar pattern in time is going to repeat again.  From the time that the AOD was set up in 70 AD until the fullness of the Gentiles is fulfilled, represents the first big 42.  Then the torch will be passed back to the children of Israel, when God shall make this new covenant “after those days” and God shall put His 2 witnesses (Word and Spirit) “in the mouths” of His anointed priesthood.

And Israel being given the oracles of God (Romans 3:2) shall prophesy again to fulfill the smaller 42, or for 3 and half years.  Then they, like Jesus, shall be killed and their bodies shall lie in the streets for 3 and half days. So you have a time, times, and a dividing of time.  And at the last trump, the Lord shall shout with the voice of the archangel Michael and they shall be resurrected along with the rest of the dead in Christ.

If you look at the end time prophecy in Zech. 12:8-10 in the latter time the enemy is to come in like a flood and God is going to pour out His Spirit on latter day children of Israel.  The enemy coming in like a flood is the sign of the fountains of the deep being opened up (the Abyss) or what is better known in the Revelation as the opening of the bottomless pit.  It is also written in Zechariah 12 that the tribes of Israel shall mourn. Zechariah 12… 8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”

This sign is spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:29-30.  29 Immediately “after the tribulation of those days” shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

This pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the tribes of Israel is the sign of God making this new covenant with Israel “after those days.”  And this sign is also shown in Revelation 7 with God “sealing” his servants from Israel in their foreheads.  This “seal” is the sign of God sealing his law and testimony(Isaiah 8:16) in the hearts and minds of those 144,000. After which I believe they in turn will preach the gospel to many people, nations and tongues.

The reason I say this is because of what we are shown in the 144,000 seen in Revelation 14.  Now I do not believe the 144,000 seen in Revelation 14 are the same 144,000 seen in Revelation 7 because the 144,000 in Revelation 14 are “already redeemed” from the earth and are already in heaven with Christ as is written.  Also we are told this 144,000 in Revelation 14 are the “firstfruits” of Israel.  These “firstfruits” of Israel were the “first” of Israel to be redeemed and resurrected right after Jesus was resurrected.(Matt. 27:52-53) The latter day 144,000 of Revelation 7 are the “double portion” promised to the firstborn son Nation of Israel in the prophetic law of the Lord. (Deut. 21:17)

But what I want you to notice in Revelation 14 is the angel that is flying in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach to all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.  And also notice the timeing of “when” this angel is calling for men to repent.  It is right before the judgment of God and the fall of Babylon.  6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

Now to confirm the timing of when this everlasting gospel is to be preached, we need to go to Revelation 10:10-11 where we see a mighty angel “stands up.”

Revelation 10…10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

I believe this mighty angel that stands up is Micheal the archangel, that is also mentioned in Daniel 12:1; He is going to stand up and fight for the children of Israel in the very last days.

But notice what is in the mighty angels hand, it is a little book that is given to John.  And John is told he is to preach again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings. This is also what the angel in Revelation 14 was saying about the everlasting gospel.  Now some may think this little book message is to be given during the thousand year reign of Christ, but I believe it will be given right before the second coming of Christ.  It is like the last call to repentance before the destruction of this world by fire.

So how can John who died many years ago preach the gospel again before the second coming of Christ, and before the resurrection at the last day?  I believe it is to be done the same way that the prophecy of Elijah was fulfilled in John the baptist.  John the baptist came in the power and “the spirit of Elijah” as is written. (Luke 1:17) So this is what I believe is going to happen with Israel.  The spirits of the former 144,000 are going to minister to the latter day 144,000 who are then to preach the everlasting gospel, and the message contained in the little book.

Now this may sound strange, but think about this.  Look to the sign that was shown in Jesus with the angels of God descending and ascending to minister to him during his ministry?  Paul said of the angels, are they not all “ministering spirits” sent forth to minister to those who shall be the heirs of salvation?(Hebrews 1:14)  So this to me is how “the spirits of these former just men made perfect” shall minister to the latter day saints who have the Lord's 2 witnesses in them. (Word and Spirit)

So during this time we have evil spirits coming out of the bottomless pit working “in” the children of hell, or the Beasts army.  And then we have the good spirits coming out of heaven working “in” the saints, which are of the Lords army.

Just as the 7 angels sounding their trumpets shall be heard through “the mouths” of the Lord's anointed priesthood.  Just as it is written, lift up your voice like a trumpet!’ (Isaiah 58:1) This sign was also shown in the 7 priests with 7 horns circling the city 7 times on the 7th day right before the fall of Jericho.(fall of Babylon)  Also keep in mind Jesus said he would send forth his angels “first” to bind the tares. (Matt. 13:30)

This sign is also shown in the Psalms with all the saints of the Lord binding the Kings of the earth.Psalm 149:8-9….8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

Now the mighty angel Michael “standing up” and roaring like a lion is also a clue to when these events shall take place.  As it is written of the Lord “roaring from Zion” in Amos 1:2, Jer.3:16, Jer. 25:30 and Joel 3:15-16.  Just as it is also written the Lord shall give a shout, with the voice of the archangel. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

And the signs in the sun moon and stars is also tied in with the coming of the Lord's army, as is shown in the first part of Joel chapter 2.  2 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

So when you see the 6th seal signs taking place, then lift up your eyes to the heavens, because your redemption is drawing near.

Luke 21:28

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Peace

In Revelation 9:16-18 we read “And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having "breastplates of fire,"and of "jacinth, and brimstone": and the heads of the horses were as the "heads of lions;" and out of their mouths issued "fire and smoke and brimstone".18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the "fire", and by the "smoke", and by the "brimstone", which issued out of their mouths.”

  • If you back up a bit we’ll see what the 4 angels loosed were to do in Revelation 9:15 “And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for "to slay the third part" of men.

And again notice how the third part is to be killed ( fire, smoke, and brimstone which comes out their mouths)

This sign is shown here in 2 Samuel 22:7-9 “In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.9 There went up a "smoke" out of his nostrils, and "fire" out of his mouth devoured: "coals" were kindled by it. (brimstone)

This is the same sign we see in the Lord’s 2 witnesses in Revelation 11:5 “And if any man will hurt them, "fire proceedeth out of their mouth", and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be "killed.”

The first army we saw in Rev. 9:3 came out of the bottomless pit and are of the Destroyer; but this army is different because I believe it is referring to the Lords army seen here in Joel 2:11

“And the Lord shall utter "his voice" "before his army": for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth "his word:" for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?”

If you back up a bit in Joel we will see their "likeness" in Joel 2:3-5 “A "fire devoureth before them"; and behind them a "flameburneth": the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of "a flame of fire" that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.”

Elisha saw the Lords army in 2 Kings 6:17 "And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha" So the description fits the army in Revelation 9:16-18

This “flame that devours”before them are “the words of God”in their mouths; just as it is written God makes His ministers "a flame of fire".

Just as we see in Daniel the flame that goes before the Lord in Daniel 7:10 “A "fiery stream" issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”

We also see the number of saints as ten thousands times ten thousands in Daniel, as the number of the Lords army is shown in Revelation 9:16 as two hundred thousand thousand.

This number of 200,000 is also represented by the "mighty men of valor"from Judah, and from Benjamin
as seen in 2 Chronicles 17:16-17.

The portion of Judah represents the lawgiver, as it is written in Genesis 49:10; these are the "lions" of the tribe of Judah.

Notice in Revelation 9:17 they had the "heads of lions". This is shown here in 1 Chronicles 12:8 “ And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the "faces of lions", and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;”

In Revelation 9:17 we see this army has a "jacinth stone" on their breastplates. In Revelation 21:20 we see the jacinth is the 11th stone, which I believe also signifies timing; as seen in Revelation 9:15 stated the 4 angels were prepared for an hour, a day, and a month, and a year.

This "fiery" witness is also signified in the "breastplates of fire" that is worn by this mighty army in Revelation 9:17.

This fire burning within was shown in Psalm 39:3My heart was "hot within me", while I was musing "the fire" burned: then spake I with my tongue,”

And was also shown here in Jeremiah 20:9 “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But "his word" was in mine heart as a "burning fire"shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”

So by "the fire of the Lords words" in the mouth of this great army of witnesses were the third part of men killed.

Just as the Lord said to Jeremiah 5:14“Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make "my words in thy mouth fire", and this people wood, and it shall devour them.”

This killing of the third parts was also shown in 3 men, Hazael, Jehu, and Elisha in 1 Kings 19:17. This "fiery law" is also shown in Deuteronomy 33:2 when the Lord would come with 10,000's of his saints: and from his right hand would come forth a "fiery law."

We are told in the Revelation 13:5 that the beast would speak the same amount of time as God's 2 witnesses would prophesy. So we see 2 armies of witnesses at work in the world, one army from hell, the other army from heaven.

But also notice in verse 19 these also have power in their tales, just like those locusts had power in their tails in the beginning of chapter 9.

I believe this is the sign of 2 different serpents; keep in mind it was the serpent of Aaron and of Moses that "swallowed up" the magicians’ serpents in the Exodus story.

Also remember the Lord first sent forth fiery serpents in Numbers 21:6; to bite and kill the children of Israel because of their disobedience. But then the Lord would offer them a way out of "death" by looking upon "the serpent of brass" that Moses would raise up before them.

This was given as the sign of raising up Jesus, just as Jesus said in John 3:14; "And as Moses raised up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

In this we also see "death" being "swallowed up" in victory by believing in Jesus Christ.

Peace and God bless

Hosea 6:5 “Therefore have I "hewed them by the prophets"; I have "slain them by the words of my mouth": and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.”

Isaiah 10:15 "Shall the axe boast itself against him that "heweth" therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood."

Jeremiah 51:20 "Thou art my battle axeand weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms."

To fuel a fire you must first cut down some fire wood….

Matthew 3:10 “And now also "the axe" is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is "hewn down", and cast into the fire.”

Slain by the "fiery words" of the Lords mouth by the prophets…

Jeremiah 5:14 “Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make "my words inthy mouth fire", and this people wood, and it shall devour them.”

Revelation 11:5 “And if any man will hurt them, "fire proceedeth out of their mouth", and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.”

Psalm 104:4 “Who maketh his angels spirits; "his ministers" a flaming fire:

Deuteronomy 4:24 “For the Lord thy God is a "consuming fire", even a jealous God.”

Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a "consuming fire.”

The tares are "bound" first…..

Matthew 13:30 “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and "bind them" in bundles "to burn them": but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Matthew 16:19 "And I will give unto you the keys to the Kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt "bind" on earth shall be "bound" in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Isaiah 10:16-23 “Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle "a burning like the burning of a fire".17 And the light of Israel shall be fora fire, and his Holy One for "a flame": and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both "soul and body": and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.” (fear Him who can cast both soul and body in hell)

Isaiah 24:6 "Therefore has "the curse"devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are "burned", and few men left."

2 Kings 2:24"And he turned back, and looked on them, and "cursed them in the name of the Lord", And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Psalm 2:12 "Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when "His wrath is kindled" but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him."

Luke 12:49 “I am come to send "fire" on the earth; and what will I, if it be "already kindled?"

Zechariah 12:6 “In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an "hearth of fire" among the wood, and like a "torch of fire" in a sheaf; and they shall "devour "all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.”

Zechariah 2:3-5 " And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, And said unto him,Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a "wall of fire"round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her."

Revelation 20:9 "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and "fire came down from God" out of heaven, and devoured them."

Slain by the sword of the Spirit....

Exodus 32:26-27 "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor."

Isaiah 49:2 "And he has made my mouth "like" a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he hid me."

The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword..." ( Hebrews 4:12)

The sword of the Spirit, is the Word of God. ( Ephesians 6:17)

1 Kings 19:17 "And it shall come to pass, that him that escapes the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapes from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay."

Revelation 19:1 "And the remnant were slain with "the sword" of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of "his mouth: .."

Psalm 149:5-9 “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a "two-edged sword" in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;8 To "bind" their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;9 To execute upon them the judgment written: "this honour have all his saints". Praise ye the Lord.”

Breaking the nations in pieces with the rod of iron...

Psalm 2:9 "Thou shalt break them with "the rod of iron"; thou shalt dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel."

Revelation 12:5 "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all the nations with "a rod of iron": and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne."

Revelation 2:26-27 "And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give "power" over the nations: And he shall rule them with "a rod of iron"; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I have received of my Father."

1 Corinthians 4:21 "What will ye? shall I come unto you with "a rod", or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?"

Revelation 19:15 "And out of His mouth goeth a "sharp sword", that with it he should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with "a rod of iron": and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."

"For "the weapons of our warfare" are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds."- 2 Corinthians 10:4

In scripture the Lord gives us many insights by types, shadows, and patterns.

He even gives us signs of things to come in many of His past saints; as it is written in Isaiah 8:18
“Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.”

Just as Jesus himself was a sign given of the fall and rising again of many in Israel.

What I want to focus on in this thread is the sign of “the shout” given to us many times in scripture in various ways and situations.

Starting first with Jesus. When Jesus gave up the ghost it is written that He cried out with a shout “it is finished!”

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with “a loud voice,”yielded up the ghost.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished:”and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

This is similar to the words we see mentioned after the the mighty angel, or the archangel shouts with a loud voice at the 7th and last trump in Revelation 10:77 …But in the days of “the voice of the seventh angel,” when he shall begin “to sound,” the mystery of God should be “finished,” as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

So it seems this shout and the sound of the trumpet is to signify a finishing point. As Paul said 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with “a shout,” with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”

The sign of this sound of the trumpet and the great shout is also shown in the story of the fall of Jericho, when after the 7 priests with 7 horns had completed the 7th rotation around the city, the people were all told to SHOUT! And the walls of the city fell, and the people ascended up.

Joshua 6:5 “And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with “a great shout;”and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.”

Joshua 6:20 “So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with “a great shout,” that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.”

This to me signifies the final fall of mystery Babylon, the ascension of the saints, and the kingdoms of this world becoming the kingdoms of God and of His Christ.

The likeness of this shout at the coming of the Lord is also shown in many different ways.

It was shown at Christ’s first coming…Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; “shout,”O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”

And it is shown at His second coming…Isaiah 52:8-9 8 Thy watchmen shall lift up “the voice;”with “the voice together”shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. 9 Break forth into joy, “sing together,”ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.”

It is also written we are to lift up our voice “like a trumpet.”

Now you could imagine the shouts for joy heard in the mouths of all His saints when Christ finally returns.

I believe a foreshadowing of this event is also shown in 1 Samuel 4:5 And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord came back into the camp, and all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.”

2 Samuel 6:14-15 “And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord “with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.”

1 Chronicles 15:28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.”

Again shouts of joy….

Psalm 47:1 “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”

Psalm 47:5 “God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.”

Psalm 132:9 “Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.”

Psalm 132:16 “I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.”

Isaiah 12:6 “Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.”

Isaiah 44:23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.”

And also the load and mighty roar and shout, and the is cry heard when the time of the grapes of wrath are ripe.

Jeremiah 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give “a shout,” as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.”

Revelation 14:15
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with “a loud voice” to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Revelation 14:18
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and “cried with a loud cry” to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.”

The great sound of the Trumpet and great voices…

Matthew 24:31 “And he shall send his angels with “a great sound of a trumpet,”and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Revelation 11:15 “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were “great voices”in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

The heavens shall pass away with a great noise…

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with “a great noise,”and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

So what is “after those days”?

I may be wrong but here is how I would answer this question.

God knew the new covenant Jesus was to bring would be rejected by the Jews also God knew the Gentiles would accept it.

After those days of the Gentiles which ends just before the Great Tribulation.  Some time during the Great Tribulation Israel will believe in Jesus and He will Save Israel then.

Rom 11

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

@NConly The unfolding of redemptive history in Romans is amazing............

And that is what I was showing in my OP. 👍

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
