This does not support the notion that we need be aware of current events,

in an effort to identify him. What it does imply:

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, 

and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

My "argument" is doctrine.

Ephesians 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

You seem to think that I have not read Revelation or the prophets,

or that I need to be told "read Rev 15:1, 2". I have, in fact, read them

many times over. Your efforts to teach me are keeping you from

receiving the point that I am presenting.

We are not given Revelation to use as an oracle to make predictions,

or watch current events and try to identify (guess) who we think certain

people, entities or places may be that are discussed. If you can receive it, this 

is not the Spirit of Truth, it is the spirit of "wanting to be right". You can

go to the prophesy/eschatology forum right now and find no lack of 

its manifestation. Hear the word of the Lord:

John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, 

that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

What I believe will not be shaken by false prophets, miracles, or doctrines

of demons because I know the truth, and the truth has set me free, especially

from the burden of worrying about what is going on in the world.

"Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, 

and things wherewith one may edify another."

Doesn’t Daniel 7 and 8 identify the beast and the little horn?
