Happy new year everyone

Here's a list of things I hope for this year:

* That our evil Anti-Christian president Biden may lose the election(I hope Donald Trump wins)

* That a new generation rises that opposes wokeism and liberalism

* That the internet may become a more free place filled with diverse websites(Ever since 2007, the internet has slowly become a less free place were a few big woke companies dominate)

* That no bachelor or bachelorette ever be shamed of being a virgin again(too many people in modern society fornicate for fear of being called a "virgin")

* That new laws arise to protect kids from internet porn(internet porn has become so invasive that you can do all you can to protect kids from porn - porn blockers, homeschool, etc - but they will still see porn. In 2008 only 14% of boys had ever seen porn before the age of 13, nowadays most kids will be exposed to porn at the tender and innocent age of 11)

* That new laws arise to protect kids from internet and phones and mobile devices(Ipad kids are a crisis, kids as young as 11 now have phones, they rob kids of innocence and imagination)

* That humanity may lose its addiction to phones(too many phone addicts and screen addicts. While I have conquered phone addiction, my computer addiction still exists, but thankfully I don't need to bring my devices with me usually on a trip)

* That America's birth rates may stabilize or rise(Ever since 2007, US birth rates have fallen to the lowest numbers ever, and there's no economic factor involved. However this fall correlates with the rise of high speed internet, HD hardcore porn sites, smart mobile devices, and social media)

* The beginning of the end of homosexual "rights"(Homosexual rights and lgbt rights have gone too far)

* That the sexual revolution may be undone(The sexual revolution has done major damages to society, but with Dobbs v Jackson we have seen a huge step back)

* That modern mainstream music may filled with more talent(Nowadays MMM as I call it, is not filled with talent or skill, but there are too many sexual music videos and satanic imagery - even from artists who say their audience is kids.)

* That sexual morality may return

* That abortion "rights" may end(We have seen various states almost completely banning it

* That humans learn to depend less on the internet again(We have become too dependent on internet, heck I no longer even get paper homework anymore, it has made us dumber)

* That society becomes more religious(The irreligious population was only 15% in 2005, today it is more than a quarter, and society has become dumber since then - who in the 2000s argued that men could get pregnant? We can reasonably hope for this as the lemon test has become obsolete in 2022)

* That ideas that in this era have been considered "conservative" become considered moderate common sense

* That people learn once again to fear the one true God(We have seen the effects of a society that doesn't fear God and I hate it)

* That life expectancies start to rise again(they stopped rising in the Obama era starting in 2012 and Dropped in the Biden era)

* That Americans become happier(Depression rates are at an all time high)

* That the UN loses influence(The UN has been an evil force)

* That Cuba may be free.(As a Cuban immigrant to the US I really hope for this)

These are not all of them, and I also have taken out personal goals because I don't like sharing personal information

I hope that this sad and depressed generation can now finally find God and transcend their hedonistic desires. How many broken families and lunatics and addicts do we have to deal with now that our society has turned from God. I believe that wokeism - a family of far left ideologies which starting in 2012 took over the internet, has finally started to die. I believe that If Trump gets elected again - which I hope so with all my heart and soul - a deadly blow will come upon wokeism and society will return to normal as it was in the 2000s

Yoowie! The 2000's were "normal"?

May I suggest that hope is not to be found in men whether it be a Biden, a Trump, or a Eisenhower or Kennedy. Each era has it's rulers and leaders of lands. Each ruler and leader is appointed by God.

It is not the leaders, but the followers that  bring about much  of the angst one may suffer, and that too is of God. Circumstances of the moment are always presented to us by God  and always present opportunity to share of our Lord and savior.

So praise is in order is it not? Praise God for the circumstances that allow us opportunity to do as we are commanded- go and share of the gospel of Jesus with the world.

To be happy, to feel secure in Christ Jesus is to be different from the world, the world of many laments.

Be happy -  don't worry.

Sure, all men are sinners but would you rather have a leader who respects the rights of us Christians or one who continuously violates our human rights?

human rights?

Rights? I do not demand any right from other men. I am led by the Holy Spirit regardless of any man's dictates.

God uses his own people  perhaps more mightily, at least by contrast, when trials are placed upon them than when there are not trials upon them. So it matters not to me, as I put no stock in a man's dictates of my rights. My leader is God. He places leaders over me as He sees fit.

From Job 2 ..."Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" God uses adversity as well as good, perhaps even more so, to the better ending result that reliance upon the  faith of Jesus is increased.

Because they are given freely in America. A country blessed mightily by our almighty God.
Go to a third world country and you will see just how much you don't appreciate your rights here in America.
Most Americans take their rights for granted or have no idea of what it took to get and maintain them.
If someone doesn't really know them, look up in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights
.

Yes. As believers, we do have rights. To serve, to be a slave for Christ. "You are not your own"

Thanks Neighbor...

Well after reading the story on the news page of this site, Elon Musk' Neuralink, I believe certain events leading to a body of global governance is very possible. Perhaps it'll operate as the WHO does. It'll be more of an overseer of local national governments. If you have been paying attention to stories detailing electronic currency, you will also deduct that this will be the controlling mechanism to force people to do the global government's will. A social/ financial credit system that rewards and will also discipline those that do not toe the party line.

Law enforcement's Neuralink will provide much more information to a law enforcement officer than a yearly subscription will provide to a layperson. If you choose to be paired up with information technology directly connected to your brain, it'll be based on the package you choose for yourself. The more options, the higher the cost. remember, this is a free market!

 Thus the present  "invasion" eh?

Actually I just gave  my replica of the Bill Of Rights, and the US Constitution that  I have had at my desk for reading these past many decades to my grandson.  I kinda miss having it just behind me at my desk.

I do still have my framed front page of the "EXTRA Pensacola News EXTRA" from  Tuesday afternoon August 14, 1945 with it's headline "WAR ENDS! JAP SURRENDER ACCEPTED BY ALLIED HEADS" less than an arms reach away from me  right now.

It is complete with  victory pictures  and the second atomic bomb mushroom cloud explosion image. And down in the lower right corner of that front page there's an article on  the really  big news of the day, "Liquor License Price Is Hiked". Seems at the USA we always have our priorities straight.

God may have stopped blessing the USA, at least directly, and instead left us to suffer the result of our national sin against Him starting when the US Supreme Court ruled 8 to 1 for the respondent in the  Murray v. Curlett decision back in 1963. I do think God is not all that happy about some of the "freedoms" at the USA. In fact I think His wrath  is kindled mighty against us, and that  this country will continue suffering assault and failure because of it.

The USA may not be the blessing to God that many think it is. For the blessing from Him has been taken as being our right. God tends to humble the "stiff necked".
