Blaming everything about the illness on everything except the illness. Conspiracy theories circulating the internet so prevalently these days, is fuel to that thought pattern and thought narrative.

The title about says it. For years, I have blamed everything on the illness, except the illness. With the rise of conspiracy theories on the internet being so readily available to read online places,

It only fuels this narrative and this thought pattern. I know mental illness has always been there. I read a book from night in times past, with lunatic and the verse about lunatic in the Bible. I know it exists. When I try and explain it away, I can't. And get confused. Type things I don't mean, or don't know what I am saying. Sigh.

Which came first, the mental illness, or the cause of the illness? Does food really affect the body to the degree that people says it does. And is there another way to treat smi, and what causes it if it is all genetics. I want to blame everything about the illness, on everything except the illness.

Do you suffer from an illness? The good way for a Christian to endure the illness is to be patient and to thank God for everything, including our personal cross (sufferings). Don't be angry at other people, it doesn't help the problem. May the Lord help you to serve Him even when you suffer.

The cause. There are many causes which lead to illness, my friend. None of them are voluntary on our part by any means. Most are organic in origin.

The answer is complex, but to sum it up briefly and concisely as I possibly can, only if we are allergic to the constituent ingredient(s) in food. For example, a very long time ago, my adopted mother was a school teacher who worked in Special Education. She was very talented and worked for the state education department, traveling from school to school assessing children in order to determine what would serve their needs. My adopted mother was unusual because she conducted home studies as part of her assessments... but then, this was why she was so effective and in demand.

There was a little boy in the 2nd grade who wouldn't speak. He was prone to violent outbursts; after a comprehensive assessment, my adopted mother suspected that this little boy had an allergy to sodium nitrate. He was acting out on account of the symptoms he suffered from eating the hot dogs he was being fed at home. Deciding to act upon my adopted mother's advice, his parents stopped feeding this little boy anything containing sodium nitrate. After one day, the little fellow started talking and behaving himself both in class and at home.

That's pretty rare, though. Allergies would be the culprit where physiological and psychological health is concerned.

I have dry mouth, and my sodium levels have been on the lower end of normal for a long time, so sodium nitrate is not my issue! *Edit* What is sodium nitrate

There are some medical fields whose practitioners claim ALL illnesses are self inflicted, and are mental/spiritual (not physical) in nature. That one may will to be ill, or will not to be ill.

Personal attitude towards one's self sure plays a huge part!-  In practice of life I have found that to be so.  And yes, I too fail to foresee and handle well  what may be causing consternation (That's consternation!) at times, and it does often lead to manifestation in physical illness.

If I ask myself, okay "What's the real issue here?" and face it, I heal almost immediately, if not avoid illness altogether. That said I was sick for a full two and half months recently, till I dealt with  a serious issue rather than waffle on about it.

Advice from the peanut gallery: Face life as it is, praising God in all circumstance,  and be happy or at least   "Quit y'belly aching". "When you laugh the world laughs with you, when you cry, you cry alone" is not an unfair appraisal.

Hi sis.. I see what your saying but if I may. There was this God that said OT "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed"  For you He said " So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."

He has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. The song playing is Petra and its true "it is finished". I love the saying "you don't have any problems all you need is faith in God".

I just listen to Russ Taff he was talking about when he was young how he would drive this paster around who just went home. Haha Russ said he only had his suit coat and it was 9 degrees and Jerry (man of God)  said "believe God for it". Lol Russ said but Jerry its 9 degrees out of kindness give me a over coat Jerry said "believe God for it" So he as getting ready to leave to take Jerry back and this guy comes up to Russ with a over coat. The man said I have two of these and the lord told me to give this to you. HAHA Russ RUNS to Jerry saying "Look what GOD did for me". Russ called Jerry when he won his first Grammy saying "look what GOD did for me"

Sarah laughed at God who said to her who was so old "what is to hard for the lord?" Do you see? :) I don't speak of what I do not know only what I know and have experienced.
