TRUST IN THE LORD

Beloved ones, we heard:

 

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

WHAT we trust in the LORD with all our heart ?

 

For we heard: “And lean not unto thine own understanding.”

 

Beloved ones, let us NOT trust in our own understanding.

 

But we TRUST IN THE LORD’s UNDERSTANDING.

 

Beloved ones, let us trust in the LORD with all our heart, HIS UNDERSTANDING.

 

For we heard: 

 

“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

How may WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST? 

 

Beloved ones, we may HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST if we BE MINDFUL OF CHRIST.

 

For we heard Jesus said:

 

“ABIDE IN ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, let us be mindful of Christ by ABIDING IN HIM.

 

This, we heard Jesus said to Nicodemus: 

 

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he CANNOT SEE the kingdom of God.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

How CAN we SEE the kingdom of God?

 

Beloved ones, let us paraphrase for clarity on John 3:3 for us. 

 

“Jesus answered and said unto us, Verily, verily, He says unto us,

include CHRIST be born again, we CAN SEE the kingdom of God.

 

For we heard apostle John said to us:

 

“WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH that JESUS IS THE CHRIST IS BORN OF GOD: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, we CAN SEE the kingdom of God because we be MINDFUL OF CHRIST, that we BELIEVETH that JESUS IS THE CHRIST, for we that BELIEVETH that JESUS IS THE CHRIST IS BORN OF GOD. 

 

HOW are we BORN OF GOD? 

 

Beloved ones, BORN OF GOD, that is, BORN BELONGING TO GOD. 

 

To be owned by God, that we have to DISOWN SINS.

 

For this, we heard:

 

“He that covereth his SINS shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and FORSAKETH THEM shall have mercy.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, let us FORSAKE SINS or DISOWN SINS, that we may BELONG TO GOD. 

 

For this, we heard: 

 

“Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may BELONG TO  another, TO HIM WHO HAS BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD, in order that we may bear fruit for God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, let us consider why apostle John asked us to BELIEVE JESUS IS THE CHRIST in 1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬. 

 

This, we heard Jesus said: 

 

“Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots GO INTO the kingdom of God before you. 

 

For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots BELIEVED him: and ye, when ye had seen it, REPENTED not afterward, that ye might BELIEVE him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, apostle John asked to BELIEVE JESUS IS THE CHRIST, so that we may GO INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

 

BELIEVING JESUS IS THE CHRIST, that is, that we, when we had seen or PERCEIVING THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS or THE GOSPEL or THE GRACE OF GOD IN TRUTH, REPENTED BEFORE THE GRACE OF GOD IN TRUTH, that we BELIEVE JESUS THE CHRIST. 

 

Beloved ones, let us TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS with all our heart, HIS UNDERSTANDING THE CHRIST. 

 

This, we heard apostle Paul said:

 

“But I certify you, brethren, that THE GOSPEL  which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by THE REVELATION OF Jesus CHRIST.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

And also apostle

Paul said: 

 

“My little children, of whom I travail in BIRTH AGAIN ( or BORN AGAIN)  until CHRIST be formed in you,”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

Beloved ones, let us TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS ( THE LORD GOD WITH US) with all our heart, HIS UNDERSTANDING THE CHRIST. 

 

Beloved ones, let CHRIST be formed IN us, that we may SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD or PERCEIVE THE GOODNESS OF GOD. 

 

To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ.
