Either.... Mankind is born evil and basically corrupt OR mankind's behavior is pure and evil is learned through his environment and contact with others. Baptism takes away Original Sin and leaves an indelible mark on our soul. This however doesn't mean that we will never sin again. I don't know what "total depravity" or Yetzer ha Ra.... are? Pax, what kind of baptism are you talking about? of the Spirit of water? if you are talking about the Spirit I totally agree with you. If you are talking about water then I don't think so! the water is only a symbol and isn't really necessary to be cleansed from sin and saved. Well a thanks i got it. I knew that (except for what Leonard said. big words in other languages confuse me.). I guess my original question is irrelevant in any case. Learned or born into it all have sinned. Thanks anyway!
