Greetings Blindseeker,

I don't know where you dug that piece up, but I agree with most all of it except about the two witnesses.

Greetings Bless All in the Peace and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I agree with Dad Ernie.

When the body quites denying it's fullness and awakens realizing its true Grace. It's true Fullness in Christ. We will be able to accept what the Lord sends. We will be able to act like the Apostles. All manner of power of the Holy Spirit will be ours. The Lord chose us not to sit on our hands but to act in His Agape Love. To achieve His will. Just like He chose the Twelve.

This is an interesting perspective . . . yet not one I can readily embrace.

I simply "dug it up" from my hard drive . . . it was part of an old post of mine.

Greetings Blindseeker,

So you don't see the connection between the following verses either?

Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

I believe only 2 great cities are mentioned in Revelation.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Brother Seeker,

G-d Bless you!

I agree with you more than you know. Insomuch as Daniel is concerned. The confirming of the covenant and so forth.

Now, we know already who the two witnesses are, and what they will do, but

what about after they are killed? There are a few interesting verses that follow after their death.

Revelation 11:8

8 " And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

What the heck could this mean? This city is known as the Spiritual Sodom, and

Egypt? But is also the place where the Lord was crucified. Yes, this is most like

ly Jerusalem, but why is it called spiritual Sodom, and Egypt? Is this another

mystery of the Bible? Or is there an account to this?

Okay, now what about these verses?

Revelation 11-13

11 "And after three days and an half the Spirit

of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them."

12 "And they heard a great voice from heaven

saying unto thwm, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

13 "And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of Heaven."

A tenth part of the city fell, and seven thousand men/women/children died in

the earthquake. Is this city still Jerusalem?

Any imput or comments on this topic?

God bless you all. :noidea:

Howdy Crusader4Christ!

For me, The Two Witnesses of Revelation Chapter 11 are two human Jewish Witnesses. And, As you well know, have great power over the weather of this earth. They will cause a drought for 42 months. But, That is not all they will have power to do. Take a look and see at the following verse as follows...

Revelation 11:6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

But, most importantly, a point to bring out here, during their 42 month ministry, No one will be able to kill them. If anyone tries to do so, They will die by fire. Scripture Reference is Revelation 11:5.

As for your question on how long these Two Witnesses lay in the streets, The Bible says for 3 1/2 days. This is not a symbolic number, but rather a literal number. 42 months is a literal number because that is how long 1/2 of Daniel's 70th week lasts. Doubling 42 months, You get 84 months which is = to 7 years which is = to one Biblical week.

One point to remember here, These Two Jewish Witnesses will witness in Jerusalem for 42 months. So, Yes, The earthquake mentioned in verse 13 occurs in Jerusalem.

God Bless You!
