I was specifically recalling Pat's declaration about the East Caost getting hit by major storms.

I'd say this was a major storm!

What's so unique about this storm is that it has drenched such a huge stretch of the East Coast for days with heavy downpours.

In Maryland, it set the record for the most rain from a non-hurricane. That's pretty major!

People have died, streets have been closed due to flooding, an earthen dam came close to breaching (or so authorities feared).

Creation '06 had to be cancelled (they say "postponed," but in effect it is cancelled for this year) on acount of over-soaked grounds.

It has just been an unbelievable storm system. :)

Like I said, it will be interesting to see if more is on the way. But if there was ever a summer for someone to claim having heard from the Lord that there would be major storms hitting the East Coast, so far it seems this was the summer to do it. ;)

I doubt anyone who was skeptical could ever admit that Pat just might be right :P ....But I say he could very possibly be right! The earth is doing strange things in these last days, as the word of God said it would.

Well, it wasn't just Pat. Earlier this year the national weather service, or center for hurricane, said the storms we saw last year will travel further north, up the eastern coast reaching all the way up to New York this season. They have even said that major hurricanes could hit there this season. They explained why the changing weather pattern, but I can't recall the reason.

I'll look it up :)

All y'all in the storm system stay safe and dry! ;)
