Yeah, yeah - opening the proverbial can of worms.

But it is interesting the way the East Coast is being pelted with this storm. I've lived in Maryland for over 30 years, and I've never seen anything like this.

Maybe Pat Robertson wasn't totally off.... :):)

Be interesting to see if the rest of the summer follows suit.

Grace to you,

Worms, there are sure a lot of earthworms poking up in my MD yard this morning. If not they would drown from the deluge. :whistling:

Neb,

I do remember one other time when it was this crazy. Way back in the 70's when I was a kid and Hurricane Andrew came by. It rained like I've never seen it rain. :b:

I remember the creek at the foot of our hill came all the way up to our house. There were like five houses under water. Yikes! :o It was Rock Creek. I heard Beach Drive got washed out yesterday. Ever been down that road? I know you probably have.

It's crazy here too. It will rain for like an hour straight. Sheets like buckets poured out. Then it will stop and the sun will come out. Then it will rain like that again. All the local creeks are above their banks.

Peace,

Dave

Yes, but that was a hurricane. We've had other hurricanes come through before.

But - deluging for days like this? :b:

The worms are getting squigglier. :)

Now PA is experiencing this mess. MD is still having shockwaves too.

So Neb what did Ole Pat say? He's said so much of late that its hard to remember specifics.

Peace,

Dave

It's the earth going through a natural cycle. Look back to the 70's...then to the 30's and 40's....and even earlier than that. Pat Robertson is just about as correct as every weatherman out there.
