You are also correct when you say many Israelis are looking primarily for a political messiah. But there are many faithful Jews who are genuinely longing for the One true Messiah to come. Of course, they don't know (won't accept) that He was here already and is coming back. Still, I pray for my people's eyes to be opened to the truth.
