Aw, come on, Ladyraven... you're talking about 'puppyfat', surely My son was 21 inches long and almost 13 pounds at birth and he hasn't been thin a day in his life. He was smacking his legs today saying he wished he was thin (he's twelve, it's sad to see it really. He's not fat IMO, just thicker than many, built like a football player but very short). That could be "puppyfat" but he's almost a teenager... The rest of us...there's no hope for, we're ooooolllllldddddd. LOL

I can relate. Although my son has been thick every now and then, he is now in the basic training, and is in pretty good shape. As far as this topic goes, I cannot believe how people can take things and mold them to be evil. I do agree that telling a lie to your children is wrong, I also believe that having a good imagination is an important part of being a child. I have always taught my children the true meaning of CHristmas, and that has always been the most important part. And when they were old enough to stop believing in the childish things, they knew that the true meaning was there and since it was always made a priority in Christmas, they were never affected in a bad way. They never lost their faith, or felt we lied to them. We never told them that Santa was real. About the time the questions of whether Santa is real or not comes into play, so does logic. I mean how can one man really fly on sleigh going all over the world and deliver gifts to all the children in one night.......and worse than that, a bunny filling Easter basket, come on, they figure it out for themselves and when they do, they chuckle at the whole thing.
