I've kind of been in a "bleah" as far as reading goes, so I haven't read anything serious or good in a long while.  I reckon I need to "de-bleah" and get back to reading soon.. got any suggestions ?Mel

It is awesome, and they are so difficult to put down! Really, if you haven't read them, they are such a blessing! I also like other books by Tim LaHaye, Max Lucado, Dr. David Jeremiah, Ravi Zacharias, Beth Moore, Charles Swindoll, Frank Peretti, Henry Blackaby, Chuck Colsen, Hank Hannegraf and so many others...I wish I could list them all! All of these authors are awesome writers and Scripturally sound! My husband also loves T.D. Jakes as well; I just don't have experience with him... Oh, I wish I was at home reading right now, instead of at work!!

I forgot that I had trouble getting these posts up so here we go. Mel-----yes "Where is God When it Hurts" is a very good, and I do recommend it. I also recommend "Disappointed with God" also by Philip Yancey. Dee Henderson is an author who rights very good mysteries, much like Teri Blackstad. She has two series out--The O'Malleys and Code of Honor----not sure of the title of the latter series. Stephen Bly writes westerns, both from the old days to contempory with alot of humor added. I'll have to look at some of the others, but most are  romantic series.

Lewis is an excellent book. Â A Case for Christ and A Case for Faith by Lee Strobel are both great for helping lead others to Christ. Â I have also enjoyed reading some of Charles Stanley's books.
