Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: 1.25

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.87

On the graph, I was one square down, and one square to the right of dead center.

It didn't really show other names in that area, so I'm not sure who my buddies are... :24:

t.

:24: Now I'm worried. :24: I was one square to the right and dead on the horzinal axis, which I guess means I am balanced between authoritarian and libertarian?

Economic Left/Right: 1.00

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.05

Ted, is your mother's name Pauline and your father's name Jack?

Who would have figured us for "balanced" people, huh? Where are all those that have accused us of being far-right? :24:

:24:

You mean of all the people I could be aligned with, it turns out that I'm closest to an Auburn fan???? :24:

Oh, the shame......

But yeah, I was wondering where all of them "Yer just a Bush lover" people went...... :24:

lol, and no, we couldn't possibly have the same parents. You are old, remember? For that to be true, that would mean that they would have had to.......nevermind. :24:

First off I'm fully aware of what I support, believe and stand for. I have no need of a test or survey to tell me. Out of curiosity I read though the questions and found them to be very skewed, inorder to get a desired result. It was not impartial in any way shape or form and very faulty in my opinion. The maker of this questionaire is very far left in thinking, it is obvious throughout, in the wording, or more importantly read inbetween the lines.

For the record, I'm a very conservative independent with strong nationialist leanings and have found many of the Republican policies to be very liberal.

Hello Kittyjo, I was just wondering if you took the other survey regarding where you come out, conservative or liberal, and if you felt it was more or less accurate than this one?

Yes, I took a look and even tried the other survey, and yup, I came out as being conservative... It was more accurate, the intention behind it was different as well, but there is still plenty room for error.

It is difficult to sum up everyones views into Republican or Democrat. What defines the parties intentions have changed... IMO, the parties have changed much over the last 20-30 years. The current Republican party is much more liberal now, equal to the Dems of the '80's; and the movers and shakers of the Democratic party seem to have their lips firmly planted on the behinds of socialism/communism.

For example, imagine if Clinton had opened the borders, lessened the immigration policy and gave illegals amnesty.... Even 10 years ago the Republicans would've been kickin' and screamin'... Now the only ones who have a major problem with it are the folks living in the border states, our representitives are clueless even with the threat of national security. Common sense takes a holiday.

I was right on the line between left and right - I think you would be hard pressed to find someone else who would put me as an MOR on anything.

I know that they claim that they are pure as the driven snow and that we are just reading into what they wrote...but in fact they are blinded by their own prejudices and without meaning to, they slant the questions. If indeed I am a Middle Of the Road-er, I shouldn't see such clear indications of left bias.

Perhaps you see indications of a left bias because you expected to be assessed further to the right....
