Mr Kim, after being in the car for a week with his wife and children set for help and died, meanwhile his wife and kids were found in the car. I think that maybe--is the lesson here that-- you shouldn't seek out on your own but instead just stay where you are and wait on the Lord? Or perhaps it was just a tragedy you cannot attach such meaning to....?

That action alone saved his family's life. If he hadn't left his car in search of help, rescuers never would have received a "ping" from a nearby cell phone tower from his phone, I think that ping was from him attempting to call for help. But, it was enough for resuers to narrow the grid to a much much smaller location. The man walked for over 8 miles before he died and tragically, he died half a mile from where his family was stranded. His final location made it impossible for him to reach his car. He probably knew exactly where he was and tried his hardest to get back to them, but a sheer cliff became an impassible obstacle. The man saved his life and he and his family would have perished had he not left them in search for help. This man is a true hero and all Americans can learn something from this. He died for his family, but saved their lives. God Bless him!!!
