You can attack the movie but do so with the truth, not with your misconceptions about it. I make it a habit to judge all movies without having seen them! That is good! It is called discernment. It works well. Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron and EZ are in a great position to be able to judge righteously. Their lives are a testament to Christ. Amen and Amen! We are to minister and be ministered to....when we don't have a desire to do one or the other, then we are out of balance and need to press in and seek His face. In this case it appears that the 3 took a few minutes of a movie completely out of context, and then continued with a line of reasoning based on these false assumptions. The fact is that we have a minor on stage simulating sexuality. The premise behind the movie is irrelevant, good or bad. There is simply no justification for such a scene in a movie...period. If anyone had something like that on their personal computer, the FBI would arrest them, throw them in jail and label them a pediophile regardless of why they had it on their computer because ANY sexual exploitation of a minor, either expressed or implied, is illegal and punishable up to a prison sentence in Federal prison. My God says in His Word that what He calls wrong is wrong for everyone....not just those who feel conviction for what He calls sin. Christianity is not a democracy, it is a monarchy...a Kingdom with a King of all Kings. We don't have committee meetings to choose what is and what isn't ok. I don't have the right, as a Christian, to decide for myself what is right or wrong based upon how I feel about it. If I did, I would be in a lot of trouble because my judgement is flawed as I will constantly wrestle with my own sinful nature until death or until Christ's return. I will always make mistakes, but God's Word is clear in what it says and God's Word clearly defines what I should or should not be putting in front of my eyes or exposing my ears to.
