Jesus is very close to the brokenhearted......ive been in an abusive marriage for many years ......seperated etc......i have lived with alot of emotional pain ......i will say that Jesus is close to the brokenhearted .....seek Him with ALL YOUR HEART ......Jesus loves you so much..... welcome to the family of God......the angels rejoice when another soul is won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! reading the Psalms were powerful for me when i was so broken i just wanted the pain to end....... lots of good advice in terms of your wife ......mind me asking what was the main reason she divorced you? i know thats personal ....just wanting to help if i can.......is she a christian? i will share a true story of a couple from a church i used to attend..... this couple was married for approx 10 yrs ..... he had an affair on her and she eventually told him to leave..... they were divorced for approx 5 yrs..... well guess what today they are remarried to each other!!! cool huh.... im not saying that will happen to you but i do know that love covers a multitude of sins..... continue to pray for her ..... if you are trully wanting her back tell God that plead with God for her..... ask God to heal her from the pain as to why she divorced you..... i wll pray for healing for your heart.... i hope this helps a bit.... ill keep you in my prayers..... Im new here but I can tell you that you will find people that care here. Brothers and sisters that love the Lord and will love you. I will be praying for you. I havent gone through anything like you are going through but still, if you want to talk please feel free. The door is always open PS: I thought of that old story of the footsteps in the sand. Let God carry you in this time. We should always walk with God but sometimes God wants to carry us.
