Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!

Has anyone thought of this ~ that due to high price gasoline, people staying home more. Making it very suitable for a Terrorists attack coming to the nearest city.

I just thought of this the other day and it sure does make sense. More people at their homes, cooking out and partying.

There are some big subdivisions in the area outside of Grand Rapids.

Just a thought since things have been very quiet for some time now.

Liz

I think it is more reason for terrorists NOT to attack. They don't want residential areas, they want busy downtown places at the busiest time a day. More people staying home, means less people condensed into a small downtown area, and therefore less chance of attack.

Even if the terrorists had a weapon that was powerful enough that they felt it was worth the risk to drop in a residential area, it would always do more damage downtown. So in terms of terrorists, I would be thankful for high gas prices.

While your concerns are valid, Liz4JC, it's not likely that terrorists would waste their limited resources on subdivisions. A major city is a more likely target. That being said, I personally refuse to worry about such things. When we do this we are doing exactly what they want us to do and they win. No way, I say live your life without a thought to terrorists and trust in the Lord.
