Guest Melioth
Who here has stood against the advesery's minions? I thought I would open a seperate topic for this one.based on a line in my manifestations topic. Who here has performed exorcism? Who has performed a binding? Who has been called by god to stand in the breach and repel Satans army? Who here takes upon the charge of being their brothers keeper?

He says that deliverance and exhorcism are not the same thing - as exhorcism tend to focus on the manifestations of the demons and a lot of show to get them out. Deliverance is confession and repentance of sin, taking authority over the demons, and commanding them to go. Then ministering healing to the person who is being ministered to. Exhorcism focuses on the demon. Deliverance focuses on Jesus. Big difference! Hey, Melioth - I need to ask you something - Have you ever received Jesus as your Savior and Lord/Master? I have felt Satin's attack on my team while on a missions trip, and that is where the binding occured. I have no doubt about the attack, or that the binding was successful. The attacks kept coming the next day...but after that, we did not experience any. The attacks were extremely difficult and exhausting, but a valuable learning experience for me. Guest Melioth
Hey, Melioth - I need to ask you something - Have you ever received Jesus as your Savior and Lord/Master? You keep asking me these questions, I have stated on more than one occasion thatI am Christian therefor I must have accepted Jesus as my master. I nearly went into ministry to top it all off but realised god didnt want me their. I am growing in my faith in preperation for soemthing he has planned for me. I cant be bothered adding another quote but your comment on Deliverence ministry Nebula, Deliverence ministry studies supported by a pastor in my former church are how I learned to perform exorcisms. There is a lot of comanding... but it is not me who commands I am mearly a tool. Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Binding, exorcism, deliverance. All three, yep! With a blessing, Leonard, a sinner Keep fighting the good fight. We are all sinners though at least you are being forthwith in it. Salvation thankfuly is available for all. I would if I wasn't scared to even think of going up against Satan. May be in the future But as long as our eyes remaind on god their is nothing to fear. Still if its not your calling, or not your calling yet you are wise to avoid it. I thank you for your honesty.

Maybe you wouldn't get so many questions about your faith in Christ if you used the proper spelling. When you spell God without the capital "G" you could be referring to any god. The capital specifies that you are writing about the one true God of the Bible.

You keep asking me these questions, I have stated on more than one occasion thatI am Christian therefor I must have accepted Jesus as my master. I know I keep asking you these questions! There is a reason. I don't know where you received your religious training from. What you just answered here sounds backwards. You become a Christian by receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior and as your Lord - this way Jesus becomes personal to you, and the Holy Spirit will fill your soul, and you will fall in love with Jesus, and He becomes the glorious lover of your soul! :il: If you believe that following Jesus is a consequence of "becoming a Christian," then you have serioiusly missed the boat. Have you ever read the book of Hebrews?

That isn't to say that you are not right just that he may be expressing the same concept from a different vantage point. I cannot verify melioth's devotion to Christ, just that he may be expressing himself in away that is not what we have come to expect. Melioth, Much of my understanding of spiritual warfare comes from the Russian Orthodox viewpoint, and as such I feel you place your soul in extreme risk by pursuing your ideals. Not all that is heard internally is the voice of the Father...true we must maintain our psychic defenses against the evil one, but we must also beware that the evil one may lead us down the road of best intentions. The more you focus on the demonic manifestations the more power you give them. Jesus the Christ rebuked Satan but did not let his battle with Satan dominate his life in the sense that it distracted him from his true purpose. Please make sure that you are supported and maintain contact with other Christians so that the spy of the enemy is not able to infiltrate the stronghold of your soul. God Bless.
