IDF Says Gaza is Faking a Crisis

by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) The news coming out of Gaza depicts the Arab populace living in darkness and cold and blaming Israel for closing down major crossings through which fuel arrives to Gaza's power plants. Reporters even claim that the dead can no longer be buried properly because there are no shrouds, and that bodies are being wrapped in flags instead.

The IDF says, however, that this is media spin; a deliberate manipulation by the Hamas government to make Israel look as bad as possible

Gaza City was plunged into darkness after the plant's turbines stopped," the BBC reported. "Israel's closure of border crossings amid continued rocket fire from Gaza has brought the delivery of almost all supplies, including fuel, to a halt

It's the same old song and dance. Rockets fly all day long into Israel but how dare they fight back or impose sanctions. After all the "gifts" the Palestinians have sent into Israel how dare they be angry with us. They should be like Abas and throw their hands in the air and then move to another country.

Maybe those in Gaza should behave and then they could live like they want to. I wonder how long it will take for them to figure this out?

That's the thing. Hamas/The PA create "crises" where none exists and it is a tactic that has been very useful in the past even long before Arafat died.

Most of the world is all too ready to believe the worst about Israel and are quick to assume that all Palestinian suffering is the result of Israeli policies or actions.

Most Palestinians that have died in the last two intifadas died at the hands of other Palestinians OR they died as suicide bombers. Fewer Palestinian have died at the end of an Israeli machine than most people are willing to acknowledge.

That is why comparing Israel to nazis and apartheid South Africa works so well for the Palestinian PR machine. Most people in the west know next to nothing about this conflict, and the ones who do know, often commit intellectual suicide and the PA's PR machine is banking on both western ignorance and/or moral indifference.

The PA can create any crisis it wants, blame it on Israel and the world will, without investigation, without question, without so much as a thought, believe the lies and misinformation coming out of Gaza and the West Bank with the help of their "amen corner" in the liberal media.

Most westeners fail to see that more Palestinians die as either human shields, cannon fodder, internal conflicts, or as suicide bombers.

When Palestinians DO die as a result of a conflict with Israel, their death is the product of a conflict they, initiated, not Israel. They die as a result of the violence they cause. They want a war with Israel, but when the bullets start flying both ways, suddenly they whine and moan about a "crisis."

This current whining about a so-called "crisis" is nothing but an attempt to detract attention from their constant, unprovoked, undeserved, indiscriminate rocket barrages into Israeli towns, which precipitated Israel's response. They want the world condemn Israel's response without examining the need for that response in the first place. I am sure there will be some limp wrists in both the secular and Christian communities that will sympathize with these murderers and their fake crisis. There will always be plenty of gullible people to justify Palestinian confidence in the stupidity of the west.

shiloh357, do you think that it will ever stop, or get any better, before Christ returns?

It will get worse before it gets better, and that is all the more reason Israel needs us as Christians to stand with them. This is spiritual war. It is far, far far, deeper than politics.

Satan hate the Jewish people, and he hates Israel. He is the author of the lies, misinformation in the secular media, and he is also the source of bad theology in the church.

Satan has found a way to pit Christians against Israel. He has discovered the best way to stymie Christian support for Israel is to fool Christians into the thinking they are "Israel." It is one of his most pernicious lies, and it worked for centuries until Israel was reborn. I have noticed that most of the differences in theology along eschatological lines really stems from where you stand with regard to Israel.

Israel is a line drawn in the sand. More and more, as we get closer to the end, we will see Christians divided over Israel an this is both good and bad. We will see more Christians decide to abandon Israel, and we will see more Christians stand with israel more fervently than ever. We will see more anti-Semitism arise from the the "Church =Israel" Replacement Theology camp, and we will see more Christians stand defiantly against the rest of the church and against prevailing international opinion in support of Israel. We will see both hatred of, and unconditional love for the nation Israel increase. There will be, in the last days, a crescendoing of both the forces of good and evil particularlly where the nation of Israel is concerned.

The battle will not ever be over until Christ's return but we must not let that be a source of indifference. We must not take the position that "oh well, it will never be over anyway until Christ's return, so why care?" We must continue stand unwaveringly, definantly and unequivicoably for Israel even moreso now as the battle gets hotter and the stakes become higher.

We need Christians who are not afraid to stand defiantly in support of Israel in the face of liberal bigotry.

We need more Christians who will speak out against the irrational, anti-biblical hatred of Israel that is gaining steam in churches and universities.

We need Christians who will stand above the fog moral indifference to the current struggle for Israel

Well said, my Brother. Even though the church is not Israel, there is not Jew not Gentile in the Body of Christ. We are one Body as Christ as the head.

I will stand beside Israel all the way.
