Hi everyone, I'm reading Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyers and I was wondering have anyone read it and what did you think of it? Thank for your reply.

God bless you

i have read it and actually still re-read parts of it every now and then. there were some things in it that were very helpful for me. this book made me aware of certain destructive thinking habits. like joyce, i did not know that i could actually control the things i thought about. now i am able to objectively weigh my thoughts and determine whether they are true and if not, what has made me think that way. i was absolutely amazed at some of the wrong assumptions i had going on in my head that were influencing my life.

I read it while going through a 12-step program. It was something I needed at the time because of where my life was at the time. Lot's of "stinkin' thinkin'" rattling around upstairs at the time. There's lots of good stuff in there, but I have to say I didn't agree with a couple of things she said. Meyer did a good job following up things from Scripture. I've still got the book and re-read it from time to time.

Yes I have read it too. I found if you were in the wrong frame of mind it was hard to understand, but otherwise it was great. I aslo go back to it once in a while if I need a reminder, God sends me to the right spot.

Yes, I have read "Battlefield Of The Mind" by Joyce Meyer, and I love it.

It helped me realize many unpleasant things about my thought process,

and it has helped me refocus my energy on the positive aspect of life.

It continues to help me as I occasionally refer back to it when I feel a little disoriented in my thinking.

In my opinion there is another great book worth reading - "The Three Battlegrounds" by Francis Frangipane.

This was required reading in Bible College and used as one of our text books.

My son got it as a gift...read it cover to cover. I don't know what he thought of it, but if he hadn't liked it he would not have read it, nor would he have suggested that I read it. So I assume that he thought it was a worthwhile piece of literature.
