Tell him that you will forgive the entire $400 debt for the Victrola. The way I see it you win ALL THE WAY AROUND. You get the furniture...you don't have to stress over the debt any more...and you are being just as generous as the person who gave you a "new" plasma TV as a gift. Pay it forward. Guest LadyC Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 i love paying it forward, and it was a great movie! i don't feel all that inclined to pay it forward to him though. as far as i'm concerned, i pay it forward to him everytime i allow the jerk in my home, particularly when he shows up at dinner time mark decided that, even though it's a sturdy well built piece of furniture, the top of it may not be thick enough to support the weight of the plasma tv. (it weighs nearly 80 lbs.) and so since my husband doesn't want to put that much weight on it, it's just one more piece of furniture that would take up space without serving a purpose. i'll probably put it in the church garage sale at the end of the month. troy finally said he didn't care what we did with it, and would haul it to the dumpster if we didn't want it.
