Kiwi,

I wrote this article which is a brief synopsis of the most powerful weapon a believer has.

The Prayer of a righteous man availeth much

With much agape love,

I pray through Jesus to G-d.  It sounds funny, since He is G-d, but that is the way He set things up.  The Father sent the Son so that we may have free access to the Father through the Son, but only through the Son.  If there are any Catholics on this board, I'm sorry if I step on any toes, that is not my purpose, but we do not pray to or through Mary or the saints.  The reason for this is because there must be a blood atonement.  That is how the Jews were able to enter in with G-d in the past- through the blood.  Without the blood atonement to accept and go through, we cannot please G-d.  George, I know you will probably follow after me.  That's OK.  You're more eloquent and better at explaining things than I am.  Kiwi, I hope this answers your questions.

Xan,

Just curious:  why do you spell God "G-d"?

Forgive--I'm just nosey!  :)

That's OK, Kiwi, You can be nosey.  I enjoy talking to you.  The reason is simpley because I am Messianic, and the Hebrew language does not have vowels.  It is simply out of respect, nothing more.  I stress "nothing more" because even though you are nice enough to leave it at that, many will try to debate me.  It is not a debatable issue, just a personal choice.

Amen Xan,

I capitalize JESUS, LORD, and GOD, for the same reason.

Hebrews 12:29 For our "God is a consuming fire.
