China and America's link to sumeria

Why is that important? It directly supports the bible in its account of Babel, and Peleg.

Of all the peoples/nations/tongues in the world, China has been the most difficult for me to find linked to Noah. Not because there is less information, but rather because I have been less exposed to it.

So I searched.

I found 2 links to sumer, and an ancient chinese legend/myth, that exactly mirrors one from the americas.

Just as the Hopi indians use words that are the same, or similar , to describe the same object or being as the sumerians.... The chinese used words/symbols that were the same or similar to sumerian.

Ten of the first characters of Chinese writing. the "heavenly stems" were supposedly developed by one of Huang Ti's ministers. The names and shapes of these characters have been preserved by tradition. Correspondants to the shapes of five of them appear in Chinese neolithic pottery marks (see attached figure). However, as Kiang Kang-hu pointed out in 1935, the names of these characters "are unintelligible in the Chinese language. The same terms are often written in different characters in various places. It appears that they might be words of foreign origin translated into Chinese according to their pronunciation.

The actual shapes of the T'ien Kan are much like that of Sumerian script from the Uruk/Jemdet Nasr period

The second link takes us all the way back to noahs ark.

It is an ancient chinese symbol for a ship that is made out of three other symbols.

1. an 8

2. people

3. boat

An 8 person boat.

This link was challenged by the folks at talk origins and a response was put on the site. It turns out that the folks making the challenge didnt know much about China, its history, or the languages spoken there, whereas the person who wrote the book about this in 1979 went to great pains to confirm this with the people who speak the language.

----- Now as I was writing this, I came accross a mormon site that has MORE such symbols that would link the ancient chinese directly to Genesis
