With me it took a lot of time, but God has worked a great deal of love and compassion toward other people in my heart. It was strange, but it seemed that I just woke up and noticed it one day. Do you think this is a true statement? yes ,,, i think the closer we are to god is equall to the way we act here on earth ,,, this may be a poor example of what i mean but like in my marrage with my wife ,,, over the years we have become some what like each other i can not ever be god but can become me god can put his ideas in me that i may emmulate him (i hope thats the right word) that i forsaking self,,, adopt his way and be as he is god is always above me like my kids in tae kwon do (another example) there teacher or master of that perticular disapline teaches his students to be as he is some day my kids will be black belts (two of them testing in june) in knowlege they will be equal to there teacher but always the teacher is above them,,, they honor the teacher always for it was him that taught them god's love is absolute ,,, the more we become as he the more we do as he does (im such a butcher with words lol) like jesus did everything according to gods will with out exception thus we see god thru jesus ,,, jesus was god in the flesh we see the teacher in him and thru him like you ,,, when you get closer to god,,, god enlarges himself in your heart becaue he is closer to you and you are more understanding ,more loving,the fruits of god are evident,,, self becomes secondary Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
