  1. Hey, thanks for your replies. I don't know what standard compliance or CSS is, and I don't know about doing one myself. It's not for a business so I don't need anything done professionally which probably would be too expensive anyway. I want a web page because I need to be obedient to Father God. I'm a preacher at heart even though I don't have a certificate saying I'm one. However, I've been given much spiritually which I have to pass on to others.
  2. Our Dad's presence definitely can be felt at times. "Felt" is not a good word to describe it because it's much more than that. It's like a stirring inside or sometimes it comes like waves over a person. I'm presuming you're not only born again but baptized and speaking in a prayer language. I don't know if you had any deliverance, or if you need any, but pray and ask Dad to show you if there's a demonic spirit that you need to get rid of. I'm happy that you were born again! Congratulations and hugs to you. Jesus with a flaming heart is symbolic of a religious devotion to Jesus' physical heart as representation of divine love for humanity. It is predominantly used by Catholics. It is referred to as the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
  3. Thanks, LadyC, for your reply. I'll get back to you. Darlene
  4. Does anyone know of a Christian person(s) who designs web sites?
  5. Hi, I used to be one of the people who thought that the KJV was the only true word of Papa's, but have since seen the light. It had to do in part with my PC Bible study program. It gives a wide variety of the different versions of the Scriptures. Reading is fine, but there comes a time when we have to "explore" the word and study because one can only get so much from just reading. It's amazing how interesting the Scriptures can be if one studies them. KJV has some issues--not that the other versions don't. However, Father uses all the versions to accomplish His purposes so it's hard to say what the "perfect" version is. I believe that we do need to check out other versions to have a well balanced Bible study though.
  6. Can't relate to that as I was raised Catholic until I realized that I had been saved and felt led to leave the C. church. I think the salvation occurred when I was five but never heard about a personal saviour until I went to a Baptist Church during my late teens. Thank you, Papa, for the Baptists, but I know that He uses all denomination to accomplish His purposes.
  7. Hi, I like praise and worship that is passionate, and if contemporary Christian music accomplishes that then that's the music for me. I don't think it's particularly the TYPE of music but the anointing that flows out of it. I also think it's nice to vary how the worship is led, and that's why it's imperative to listen to the spirit's leading. I dance and wave flags so I'm not one to sit or stand and mildly clap during praise and worship. Thanks for the great question! Hugs, Darlene
  8. There are soul, spiritual, and ungodly soul ties. We have to be careful because what we think is a good tie could just be a bondage to another person. A discerning spirit is what is needed for us to be able to distinguish between good and evil ties. I think the most ungodly soul ties are those that bind us to people who we have been sexually active with outside of marriage. I believe that when we commit immoral sexual acts we open the door to allow demonic spirits to come in because sexual intercourse is not only a physical act but a spiritual one as well. People then think they're in love when all it really does is open them up to confusion, lust, guilt, etc.
  9. Nebula, I guess that's where prayer comes in.
  10. You all are precious, and Father God loves you very much. However, what place does Passover have in our lives? Does it really matter if we're not biological Jews? We've all been passed over when it should have been us who died for our own sins instead of a sinless savior taking our place. Easter is a holiday which incorporates pagan traditions with a religious observance, but Passover was instituted by Yahweh God, the great I AM. He and He alone was the sole initiator of the feast that revealed the plan for the Messiah's death and His victory over sin. We need to pray with OPEN minds and hearts as to what holiday or feast WE SHOULD be celebrating this time of year because we ARE NOT OUR OWN. WE'VE BEEN BOUGHT WITH A PRICE BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF OUR SAVIOR, YAHUSHUA JESUS.[/bd) Hugs to you all, Darlene
  11. Has anyone ever read about the history of easter? It's quite mind blowing!!
  12. If we, as believers, don't stand up for the innocent, who is? We are their voices because they can't talk or defend themselves. Father God has changed a lot of people's thinking about the murder of the unborn. We should always speak out against the wrongs done to our fellow humans. The fear of women using coat hangers should not convince a government that it has to legalize the death of the unborn because their mothers might hurt themselves trying to get rid of them. Governments are supposed to preserve life and insure the well being of people--not their destruction. To be consistent, they need to legalize all murder or condemn all murder. It is diabolical to say that in some situations murder is right and legal, and other situations it is wrong and illegal.
  13. i honest to God dont know what to do right now. im just now coming back after a long hiatus from this site and was brought back only by a message very recently from a good friend on here. i dont even know how welcome my presence might be right now, because i know when i left, there were some mutual contentious feelings between myself and some other(s) ... and i also left because i felt like i was being nothing more than a mere pest with my prayer requests. Scott, I don't know what happened in the past with the others you're referring to but, hopefully, there's been forgiveness in the hearts of everyone who was involved. Go ahead and share and sift through the advice that people may give here, but most importantly pray and get direction from our wonderful Father God. He will always have the perfect solution to any problem. Feel welcome to PM me any time you care to and for any reason. Hugs, Darlene
  14. I would pray about it. Father never calls anyone that He doesn't equip to do the job. You need to get His perspective on your situation. I know that He wants to use the body as well as those who are leaders. The leaders had to start at the bottom of the "totem pole," and that's where you think you are now. Your name's not Gideon, is it? Hugs, Darlene
  15. Thank you, Keysha. We need encouragement these days. Hugs, Darlene
  16. Maybe it would be a good idea to just let things cool off for a while. Also, pray and fast. Doing that will enable you to get control of your emotions and be more objective. However, the fact that he isn't born again is the first and most important red flag.
  17. Hey, maybe take him take him to church or have someone else witness to him?
  18. Hi, One thing is for sure--emotions aren't particular picky about finding the right person to marry. They just want to marry any old person they think that they're in love with. That's why as believers we supposed to guard our minds and hearts and set up standards to follow. You may have heard this before--if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Spend time in getting into a great relationship with the Almighty and get His directives for your life because He has a perfect plan for you. If you are a born again believer, another born again believer is who He has for you to marry. Hugs, Darlene
  19. And how I feel closer to God than I ever did. One of the women looked at me like I was a cancer patient and even told me that after I shared she was depressed. I felt bad that I upset her and that I had made her struggle but in the end I am most hurt that I won't be making the close friends I hoped to make and probably shouldn't go back. I never wanted to make people struggle or make them unhappy. I am happy with my life even if my choices have made it hard I feel closer to God than ever and feel Blessed to have a house full of children and to be able to stay home with them.
  20. I believe that walking in the spirit is the only time that we are perfect. I'd rather use the words "matured" or "completed." The times that we're not walking in the spirit, we're walking in our flesh. People don't understand this, and we're not hearing it preached or preached to the degree that it's going to cause us to possibly take notice. We have to allow the "full gospel" to penetrate our lives for us to become a mature or complete believer. The choices we make every day reveals to others whom we're serving--either ourselves and the devil or our Father. The Scriptures teach that Christianity is a walk of OBEDIENCE. If we walk in obedience, we'll attain the prize when we leave this life.
  21. So what IS His name? -- I AM!!!!!!!!!! -- I AM YOUR SAVIOR -- I AM YOUR STRONG TOWER -- I AM YOUR FORTRESS -- I AM YOUR HOPE -- I AM YOUR PEACE -- I AM YOUR JOY -- I AM YOUR FATHER -- I AM YOUR MOTHER -- I AM YOUR BROTHER -- I AM YOUR SISTER -- I AM YOUR TREASURE -- I AM YOUR SELF CONTROL -- I AM YOUR FRIEND -- I AM YOUR BANNER -- I AM YOUR PROVIDER -- I AM YOUR HEALER -- I AM YOUR COMFORTER -- I AM YOUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, and the list goes on and on and on. . . . . . .
  22. Hi Carlos, Have you ever heard of Chick Publications? There about the only tracts I hand out, and they're available in foreign languages. You might want to go to their website, and check them out. I have thought about writing my own tracts. I believe the forums are important because every Christian has something to encourage the body with. We may never know how our words may have helped someone else. Hugs, Darlene
  23. Would appreciate any advice or help anyone may have on this manner. How do you keep focus on God in your prayers?
