bro.jimmy swaggart helped start the wof movement along with kenneth hagin(i beleive)bro. jimmy swaggart now denouces wof he is on spike and bet neworks on sunday and cmt (about5 in the morning i think) daily for a study in the word.bro.jimmy swaggart says when people put you up on a pedestal it goes to your head and i quit listening to him when he fell,but about 8 months ago i found him on the radio.i was ready to quit going to church,because our pastor wants benny hinn and the like to come to our church.i have started praying instead that God renews the spirit our church once had..bro.swaggart has a book called *THE CROSS OF CHRIST* false doctrine it covers the wof movement ,the goverment of 12 and the purpose driven life-church ..opened my eyes to a lot of things that the modern churches are preaching today and what the bible says about these preachers and movements .. "the thief cometh not but for to steal,kill and destory"(john 10:10)

i believe in tithing to where u are being feed.i go to church,but divide my tithes between my church and jimmy swaggart ..he is the only *t.v* preacher i listen too...the thing is ,even with my pastor .don't take anything anyone says..if they are doing God's work.its in the bible..i don't listen to *men* who try to tell you that you can make your self good enough..or to send them money and my house payment will be met..thats not in the bible..i had a lady tell me the other day she loved joyce myers,she made her laugh,,i said "yeah, she is a good comdedian" but for the truth read the BOOK

jimmy swaggart did say he was sorry..as for the aog,i've been with them 22 yrs..i take the good and leave the rest behind..the aog needs to apolize to him for telling missionary to tell others not to go to his crusades in the third world countries. and the aog did not take his crednials away he gave them up when they acted like pharisees and put law above the bible,if it had been in the bible for him to do so he would have,by the way his son donnie preaches at several aog churchs.jimmy swaggart has been forgiven and i betcha his ministry will grow again by leaps and bounds

well i can say this ..i've been listening to him for the last 6 months and i understand the bible more in this time than the 22 yrs i've been intending church.i've heard that the old testment wasn't important because we were not under the old laws..now i can see where the whole bible from genisis 1:1 to rev. 22:21 is all about Jesus..thats what is all about..not what jimmy swaggart did,but what Jesus Christ did at that cross 2000 yrs ago..judge him for his past if you think its the right thing to do.

yes,jimmy swaggart did get "too big for his britches"and he will tell you he did..i heard him the other morning saying that "pride" and "sin" was his problem at that time.it is not just t.v evangalist that want "love offering and seeds of faith" the churches do it too..jimmy swaggarts 70 radio stations are totally listener supported,no one can control what they teach and preach just because they adv. on the station,so he doesn't allow others to adv on them..as for the assemblies of God that is the church i attend,but u better not mention jimmy swaggarts name,ya'll be sat down and have the demons cast of for saying his name..and yes i believe that AoG *pridefully* tryed to take his ministry away.. one of the 13 that tryed that was found of later having an affair ..they told him to not preach for 2 months..he died before his 2 months was up..if i heard him preach something that was false i'd stop listening to him,its a lot better that the false doctrin of the purpose driven life..which is what the *modern* churches are going to instead of the bible

my husband and myself are christians, and we wear our rings..my husband was 40 when we married and had never been married,he is my second husband,even though he wears his ring,some brazen women still hit on him some right in front of me! the rings are not biblical but i don't think God condmens us for wearing them.my husband tells them sorry it took me to long to find my snuggle bunny,i'm not messing that up for nothing.

i have not heard jim baker preach,but i have heard jimmy swaggart preach,i believe that he"s beening expose brought about a change and he says it has,now preaches,*Jesus Christ,and him cruxified* he is on bet,spike t.v and sonlife radio. i believe that he had to lose everything ,before God could use him as never before in his ministry

do you believe that God can punish the person and turn the bad into good again? Jimmy Swaggart has been in the ministry for 61 yrs. He is still on the air waves.I was listening to him on Sonlife radio the other day.He was talking about his time of troubles,he said that sometimes it gets so big that you think you are invincible and God has to take you down,thats what happened in his case. Jimmy Swaggart's ministry was on prime time t.v. now most do not even know he is still teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.do i believe he repented?*yes i do* do i believe he is annoited by God?*yes i do*..David killed a man,stole a man's wife,yet God said David was man after his own heart..i believe God will reveal the truth about Benny Hinn and people like Robert Tilton,and Kenneth Copeland,just as he did with Jimmy Swaggart,the question is will they admit it and repent.

great movie,but my life was changed before i saw it.i think the movie took a lot of the "easter" sugar coating off his suffering

i believe i had a vision the other night..all i can really remember is Jesus and myself fighting what appeared to be demons..everytime i look over at Jesus he seemed to be saying I'm here stay strong ..this is not my first vision..had one about 22 yrs ago.I went to heaven and was set before Jesus and saw his feet and hands.the vision ended when it got to his face ..

i usually pray for God to help them and then give them what i can spare..i ask God to use to money to help them...and not let them use the money for anything but what they say they need it for...i always give it them a gospel tract..i feel it is important to at least try to let them know God is where they need to go for there needs..i was once homeless(didn't use drugs)just had no where to go and now i serve Christ
