  1. Blessings, Axxman Free speech and freedom of religion, guaranteed under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, does not stop just because one is "at work." The First Amendment of the Bill of Rights states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. As long as there are freedom loving Americans who spend their lives upholding the rights given them under the American Constitution, this guaranteed right will remain inspite of the ACLU and left activist judges who legislate from the bench in an attempt to remove this very basic right from the American way of life. Under the First Amendment, Christians are free to talk about Jesus and their faith in any public place and at work as long as it is not interferring with their work. But even the pagens and unbelievers do good works and many other things in their own name, and a person is not saved by works but by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, so unless it is done in the spirit of Christ, it is only a self righteous act and really does nothing to bring the lost to Christ, which we as Christians are called to do. But did Jesus give us the option to not tell others about him? Even if you are at work? He said: For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
  2. I'm not completely sure about this, but Camilla, who Prince Charles married, was a divorcee and that leaves him ineligible to the throne under British law as Charles gave up his right to it when he married a divorcee. Blessings,
  3. I don't have a television because of my schedule since I don't have time to watch it; however, there was a time that I did tune in to TBN and I discovered false doctrines being preached so I stopped watching. I also think the show is way too worldly and extravagant for my taste. Blessings,

  5. U.S. Christians Mix in 'Eastern,' New Age Beliefs Going to church this Sunday? Look around. The chances are that one in five of the people there find "spiritual energy" in mountains or trees, and one in six believe in the "evil eye," that certain people can cast curses with a look
  6. Blessings, Axxman Well, actually what I asked was "Why not place faith in the Seals innocence until proven guilty in a court? which is a big difference. and you asked, "Based on what"? Innocent until proven guilty, actually, is more than a concept; it is a legal presumption and principle that is guaranteed under American Constitutional law, which guarantees the accused innocence until proven guilty in a court proceedings. I don't think it's a matter of someone refusing to accept what you have said, Axxman.... but, rather, I think it is a responsibility to confront conflicting comments in your previous posts which appear to deviate from this very basic longstanding Constitutional principle and guarantee; and since you have made those comments, it makes you fair game and subject to ask you for an explanation and clarification of those comments and where you stand. Well you still didn't answer my question....and I never said the petition was about supporting the "institution of the Navy Seals", so I don't know where you get that from? You seem to think the court marshall proceeding will be circumvented because of signing a petition, and the truth will be kept from coming out. These accused Navy Seals themselves choose to have the court marshall so the truth will come out to prove their innocence and the proceedings will go forth with or without a petition to stop it. This pokes full of holes your idea of circumventing the process with signing a petition. Indeed the court marshall proceeding is still ongoing inspite of the petition, which is further verification that your idea of circumvention is nonsense. But so far, only one side of the story has been shown to the public. That being the allegations. Based upon an AlQaeda terrorist's word. You are still basing your decision on a one-sided one. Either way, it's not my concern whether you sign the petition and it never has been. My concerns, which are innocent until proven guilty guaranteed under Constitution law principle have already been set forth. You are however, taking the word of an investigatator who took the word of an AlQaeda terrorist. Whether you cut down a tree, or chop down a tree, it's all the same. And so far, the government has not provided any evidence to support its prosecution, so I don't know what you are basing your "inclination" on. It's all conjecture from your point of view. Nikki
  7. He must be a real weak Mahdi if the United States is blocking his return. Blessings, Nikki
  8. Blessings, Axxman Not really. It substantiates my point. Abed could have been resisting during his time in captivity or under arrest in civilian language. If you have another source, by all means, show us. And you expect me to believe the word of the accuser over the accused? The AlQaeda Manual indoctrinate terrorists to claim abuse, torture or whatever if caught. Link The closing chapter teaches al Qaeda operatives how to operate in a prison or detention center. It directs detainees to "insist on proving that torture was inflicted" and to "complain of mistreatment while in prison." Axxman, innocent until proven guilty in court is not based upon anything. The trial hasn't taken place yet and the evidence has not been presented. The concept of innocent until proven guilty means just that-- innocent until proven guilty in court. I disagree with you. Supporting the Navy Seals by signing a petition is not circumventing anything. Can you name me one case where in the military the top brass has circumvented the the process of a court marshall because of public support in favor of the accused? However, the Navy may just have to drop this for lack of substantial evidence to prosecute the case. If it turns out that the Seals are guilty of roughing up the AlQaeda terrorist, a simple reprimand is all that is needed and not a court marshall. This wasn
  9. Blessings, Axxman Axxman, the implication of a guilty verdict without a trial is definitely obvious in your statement. Why not just admit you made a mistake and changed your mind and be done with it? because this isn't a game of semantics. If the cat hadn't of caught the mouse, maybe it would still be alive. I don't recall anyone saying it did. I don't recall saying anything contrary. But Ted spoke my sentiments very well. Ted said I don't recall saying that. Where did I say that? Why not place faith in the Seals innocence until proven guilty in a court? Nikki
  10. Blessings, On December 7, student protestors throughout Iran's University began the next wave of protests where tens of thousands of students participated. Since the dictatorial regime surpresses this news, a live blogger inside of Iran, and with the assistance of young Iranians outside of Iran, are able to show the world through live blogging and videos just what is taking place inside of Iran during these protests, which is a huge event, that the mainstream media is unable to capture. Have a look at these photos and incredible short videos put together by the Iranian blogger. You can see live the protests in action via video, and pictures as the blogger tells you what is going on and really grasp a sense of how bad things really are in Iran and how these young Iranians feel about the evil Iranian regime. Planet Iran Nikki

  12. Hi fremont My righteous lifestyle is filled with failures But, what I love most about myself is that God still uses me inspite of all my failures. Keeping yourself in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference; And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire.....Jude 21-23 Blessings, Nikki
  13. Here's an update from today: Government Has Yet to Provide Evidence to Support Its Prosecution of Navy Seals for Alleged Punching of Terrorist Norfolk, Va. (CNSNews.com)
  14. Blessings, Axxman This topic is not about lots of others, so there is no need to change it. But earlier you said the Seals were. Axxman It's good to see you have "apparently" changed your mind. yet You still are making insinuations and accusations pertaining to the Seals that have not been substantiated by a court. Axxman You do not know how this AlQuaeda terrorist received his alleged bloody lip. No one does. This has already been pointed out by me in a previous post. And IF one of the Seals did do it, it could very likely have been in self-defense while the AlQaeda terrorist was being resistive, which is perfectly legal.
  15. Blessings, Axxman Others are involved in the Navy Seal court marshall? Why not support those conducting the investigation???? What makes you think the Navy Seals are guilty? Who did they assult? The Seals "alleged" offense is miniscule. Do you care that the Seals are willing to die for you so you can live free and accuse those defending your freedom of being guilty before hearing the evidence at a trial? He's got the bloody lip to prove it.... So he says. What do you think? For justice to be done, I think the AlQaeda terrorist should be tried under The Geneva Convention for war crimes for the alleged charges of torture and mutilation and murder of four innocent Americans in Fallujah. I am concerned about your accusation of guilty before a trial and hearing all of the evidence. If they? Done what? So you do think the Navy Seals are guilty before hearing all of the evidence. The charges may be completely dismissed based upon the evidence presented. I think it is best to leave it at that. In the meantime, I will continue to support the Navy Seals and the United States military. And irregardless of the verdict, I will still support them. They put their lives on the line for me, that's the least anyone can do. The verdict is still on that. It's very likely the AlQaeda terrorist was resisting arrest even "if" the allegations are true, and that's a big "IF". There's also the very possibility of fraudulant charges made against the Seals. No one knows because the Seals themselves have not made any public statements. As for me, the Seals are heros. Nikki
  16. Blessings, Remember when the New World Order (OWG) and the "secret" Bilderberg Group was all a conspiracy theory? It's now mainstream news..... Former Secretary of State under the Nixon Adm., Henry Kissinger talks of Obama's task to create a new world order in this CNBC interview video with Mark Haines back in January of '09. Dr. Kissinger begins his discussion of Obama's task at about the 2:10 mark in the video. If anybody would know, it would be Dr. Kissinger, an architech in the Bilderberg Group. Nikki
  17. Blessings, Turtle: Depending upon who your favorite author on "bible prophecy on end times" is, there are loads of books on the shelf by either going online or to your Christian bookstore. All of these authors write about end times events as it relates to biblical prophecy and what is going on in the world today, and have lots of scripture in them, and write about Jesus and His Second Coming in them. All usually give a salvation message in them. If you do a Google search on bible prophecy end time books, I feel certain you will find a good one for your mom. I'm praying for her salvation, too. Nikki
  18. Blessings, I think it's good to sign the petition if only to show our Navy Seals that we support them, although I doubt if will have any effect in cancelling the prosecution of our guys. It's just as well, because there is no choice but to carry on now as some people in the political correct establishment will remain suspicious if our Navy Seals are not properly cleared via of a trial and will suspect foul play of "hiding something". After seeing this video of what this alleged mastermind AlQaeda terrorist and most wanted man in Iraq at the time is responsible for, I think he is fortunate to get off with just a bloody lip. If ever there was a perversion of justice, this is it. Here in the United States of America you have a top terrorist going to a civilian court trial in NYC and these true American heros, Navy Seals, will have less rights in a military trial than terrorists will have in a U.S. civilian trial. These Navy Seals should receive a medal for capturing this AlQaeda terrorist and not killing him despite his killing and mutilating four Americans. I'm at a loss for words. Nikki
  19. Hi turtle Sometimes, especially when we are going through trials and tribulations as you apparently are now, it seems as if God and everyone has abandoned us. I have felt that way in my life. Having a disabling, chronic injury or illness as you do can often times make one feel inadequate. And the thought of losing a parent in itself can be a devastating emotional blow. Sometimes these trials seem as if they are just too much to bear. Just so you know, I have read just about every comment you have asked for prayer for, and I do keep your dad's salvation and illness and you in my prayers, and I apologize for not responding to let you know. Remember, this too shall pass! 1 Corinth. 10:12. And our Lord has promised to never leave or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5 I wish I could take away the pain and sorrow you are feeling and reverse time to make you smile. But I know I can't do that, because deep inside you are hurting. So I will be your friend when you need someone to talk to. You can P.M. me any time. With much love, Nikki
  20. Blessings, Signed I knew there was much more to this story than what was let out. It's unbelieable that those bringing charges against the Navy Seals would take the word of an AlQaeda terrorist. But then, we're living in unbelievable times. Nikki
  21. It all depends upon the singer and lyrics. I can listen to secular music as long as the lyrics are clean and uplifting, and some secular music I find is actually very refreshing to listen to; I have heard some great secular songs that promote love and friendship. Some secular music will tell a true story in the lyrics. I don't see anything wrong with listening to this type of music at all. Blessings, Nikki
  22. Blessings, Joshua, Moses' successor, and who lead the people into the Promised Land, gave the Israelites a choice. Joshua 24:15 KJV 15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. The same Biblical principle of who or what you will follow is true today, whether it be satan, the world, idolatry, humanism, new age, ........ One must be born again by choosing to repent from their sins and follow Christ. This principle of free will is taught all through the NT through the commands Jesus gave in his teachings to his followers and disciples. He never forced himself or his will upon anyone. Today, He sends His Holy Spirit to convict sinners. One can either heed the call or reject it by choice. Love is a choice. John 3:16 (King James Version) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus could have called on thousands of angels to protect him from being arrested; yet Jesus had to choose whether or not to go on and accept the penalty of death on the cross for our sins, the hardest decision he would have to make during his ministry. He choose to go forward and suffer the punishment for our sins that we might choose life with Him. Nikki
  23. This is so sad. My heart and prayers goes out to the people of Iran trapped inside of this evil regime with what looks to be no way out. Iran Crackdown Goes Global The regime has been cracking down hard in Iran. And now, a Wall Street Journal investigation shows it is extending that crackdown to Iranians abroad as well. In recent months, Iran has been conducting a campaign of harassing and intimidating members of its diaspora world-wide and not just prominent dissidents who criticize the regime, according to former Iranian lawmakers and former members of Iran's elite security force, the Revolutionary Guard, with knowledge of the program. Part of the effort involves tracking the Facebook, Twitter and YouTube activity of Iranians around the world, and identifying them at opposition protests abroad, these people say. 24. Blessings, For our troops sake, I am glad, but I cannot help but ask what took him so long? With that said, Obama seems to be backing the policy recommended by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, even though I read the General requested 40,000 troops. Why the 10,000 less than requested? I have not agreed with a thing Obama has done so far, but at least he now appears to be endorsing a "surge" strategy in Afghanistan that he opposed in Iraq. This in itself is a good thing. As much as I would love to have our troops come home, and as long as they have to stay in Afghanistan now rather than withdraw immediately, I think Obama made a big mistake by setting a deadline of bringing them home in 18 months or in July of '11. There is no guarantee the war will have been won by then and it is giving false hope to the families of the troops and is sending a wrong message to the enemy... All the enemy has to do now is sit , hide, wait it out and regroup and rebuild. I hope I am wrong. God bless our troops. Nikki
