  1. What Does America's Change Of Direction Mean In View Of Biblical Prophecy? - Harbinger's Daily Jonathan Brentner 6–7 minutes As the vast corruption of the previous US President and his administration becomes all the more apparent, we wonder how the nation survived during the past four years. President Donald Trump has brought a much-needed change of direction to our nation. The renewed support for Israel, the uncovering of the vast wasteful and criminal spending of the past several years, and Trump’s strong appeal for peace might suggest to some that the Rapture might not be as close as they thought. It’s tempting to think that way. I have found myself wondering if perhaps there’s been a pause in the parade of events leading to Jesus’ soon appearing. However, two thoughts bring me back to reality. First, I remember Jesus’ assertion that the fulfillment of Bible prophecy will happen at the time sovereignly set by the Father (Matthew 24:36; Acts 1:7). God knows the precise time when He will send His Son to get His Bride and bring her to glory. He already took into consideration all that we see happening today when He long ago set the time of our departure from this world. Second, I’m aware that a strong undercurrent in world affairs remains, which after the Rapture will directly lead to antichrist’s covenant with Israel, which will mark the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation for the world. The lawlessness of those who seek to destroy our nation remains on full display. So, does that mean that world events are accelerating toward Jesus’ appearing? I prefer to put it this way: the stage-setting for the future one-world government has not ceased or slowed down in any way. After the Rapture, the demonic undercurrent of lawlessness, already at work, will become even more evident. It’s then that the following earth-shaking events will occur. Israel Will Become Vulnerable to an Invasion At the moment, Israel doesn’t need the protection of the antichrist. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu often refers to President Trump as the best friend that his nation has ever had in the White House. Along with hastening the delivery of over 1,800 two-ton bombs, which Biden had delayed, another enormous shipment of bombs and bulldozers will soon be on its way to Israel from the US, if not already there. It’s doubtful that the Gog/Magog invasion of Ezekiel 38-39 would take place in the near term with a strong America ready to supply more weapons to Israel and defend it against attack. The Rapture, however, will decimate the US as a world power and provide the perfect opportunity for the antichrist to step in as the protector of the Jewish people. I suspect that the Gog/Magog attack will occur between the Rapture and the antichrist’s seven-year peace accord with Israel. Somehow, that will provide the perfect opportunity for him to offer the nation they cannot refuse, likely sweetened by allowing the Jewish people to build their temple. The Most Deadly Wars in History Will Occur Last Friday, February 28, we saw how quickly things can change on the world scene. The White House was prepared to announce a cease-fire between Ukraine and Russia. Apparently, Vladimir Putin had agreed to it, and everyone expected Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian President, to go along with the cessation of hostilities. But that did not happen. Zelenskyy turned the Oval Office meeting into an argument to keep the war going rather than settle for a cessation of hostilities. President Trump warned the Ukrainian President that his actions could lead to WWIII, and that’s exactly what we have seen in the days since the Ukrainian leader’s foolish decision. Many European leaders are rallying to Zelenskyy’s cause with promises of weapons and soldiers on the ground. The chess pieces are rapidly moving into place for the start of deadly wars and fulfillment of Revelation 6:3-4, 7-8. The Restrainer Will No Longer Restrict the Man of Lawlessness Perhaps the biggest change that will occur at the Rapture is the removal of the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit, who is now holding back the unveiling of the antichrist and the full measure of lawlessness that’s to come. Notice Paul’s words in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8: “And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.” Amid the chaos following Jesus’ appearing, conditions will rapidly deteriorate across the planet. Lawlessness, already at levels I never expected to see in my lifetime, will accelerate preparing the way for the antichrist and his solutions to the resulting turmoil and strife. While it might be tempting to think there’s been a pause in the mad rush of events leading up to the start of the Tribulation period, the elite powerbrokers of our world remain busy. They are working behind the scenes to quickly set the stage for when they can openly enslave the world under their domain. I’m also reminded that the Lord said His “coming” would be “at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44). This cannot refer to the Second Coming because, by the end of Tribulation, those who believe will fully expect to see Jesus riding across the sky to claim the nations as His own. 2. When you look at their lives ,you will see all kinds of difficulties .Author Robby Lashua Published on 03/07/2023 I recently wrote an article responding to polyamorists’ claim that “love is not a finite resource.” This got me thinking about possible objections to what I wrote. Some might ask, “If human love is a finite resource, then why did the Old Testament patriarchs have so many wives and concubines?” This is a fair question that all Christians need to be able to respond to. The ugly truth is that many of the heroes in the Old Testament were polygamists. Jacob had two wives and Esau had three. King David, the man after God’s own heart, had at least eight wives. Solomon, not to be outdone, had a staggering seven hundred wives (1 Kings 11:3). These examples from Scripture are perplexing because God used these men to do great things for his name and his people. Would God use men who were living in sexually sinful lifestyles to fulfill his purposes? Was polygamy permissible for these patriarchs, and if it was, is it permissible for us? To answer these questions, we need to determine one thing. Are these passages about polygamy prescriptive or descriptive? Are they prescribing how we are supposed to live, or are they describing events from the past? Many passages in Scripture describe events God doesn’t condone. Lot’s daughters getting him drunk and having sex with him comes to mind (Gen. 19:32–36). But many passages of Scripture prescribe how we are to live as followers of God, such as when Jesus prescribes loving God with all of our heart, soul, and mind (Matt. 22:37). Is polygamy prescriptive? The short answer is no. Here’s why. God never commands or condones polygamy in Scripture. The opposite is true. The first mention of polygamy in Scripture says, “Lamech took to himself two wives” (Gen. 4:19). We are then told that Lamech, a descendant of Cain, boasted to his wives about murdering a boy (Gen. 4:23). Lamech was a bad man, and polygamy is something he practiced. Not only does God never command or condone polygamy, but he also condemns it. In Deuteronomy 17, God gives instructions for the future kings of Israel, and he specifically condemns taking on many wives. “He shall not multiply wives for himself, or else his heart will turn away” (Deut. 17:17). In other words, God wasn’t okay with David and Solomon having multiple wives, and they disobeyed his commands. What does God prescribe for marriage? Monogamy. From the very beginning, God said marriage was one man and one woman becoming one flesh for one lifetime (Gen. 2:24). We can deduce this from the fact that God only gave Adam one wife, not multiple. We can also see that marriage comes with the command to be fruitful and multiply, something that only requires one male and one female. Monogamy was also Jesus’ view. When asked a question about divorce being permissible, Jesus argued that God intended marriage to be lifelong and monogamous (Matt. 19:8). He didn’t base his understanding of marriage on what the Law of Moses said about divorce; he went back to God’s original intention for marriage: “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate” (Matt. 19:4-6). Two become one flesh. Polygamy is not prescriptive; monogamy is. Since polygamy is not prescriptive, then it must be descriptive. But what exactly does Scripture describe about polygamy and its results? In short, polygamy is described as having devastating consequences for those who practice it and for those born as a result of it. Jacob’s firstborn son, Reuben, by his first wife Leah, had sex with Bilhah, Jacob’s concubine (Gen. 35:22). David’s son Amnon raped his half-sister Tamar and was then killed by Tamar’s full brother Absalom (2 Sam. 13). Absalom then tried to usurp the throne from his father David and had sex with David’s concubines (2 Sam. 16:22). Solomon “had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines, and his wives turned his heart away” (1 Kings 11:3). These descriptions are sad reminders that polygamy is sin and has destructive consequences. So, how should we view the patriarchs of the Old Testament who practiced polygamy? First, we must recognize that polygamy is described as something they practiced but never as something God prescribed. We should view these men as they are described, flawed human beings, who sinned immensely, that God still loved and worked through. This should encourage us because we all are sinners. I’m glad God works with flawed people like you and me, but make no mistake, polygamy is not and has never been intended by God.
  3. He's probably alive but not revealed yet until in the middle of the Tribulation,I think we're very close to the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation..
  4. That's why I think its so important how we live ,do they see Jesus in us?
  5. How I see it is that the Beast will demand to be worshipped after the first 3 1/2 years and will try to kill everybody who is religious,I think that includes all religions including Atheists,he will kill everybody who is not bowing down to him and who does not have the MOTB.The Jews will escape at that time to Petra where God will take are of them until the end of the Great Tribulation and they will bow down to Jesus and accept Him as their Savior and Messiah and will then they will enter the Millenial. Is this how you see this also?
  6. Unlike any other time in the church age, we see a multitude of signs telling us that the Tribulation period is rapidly approaching. However, like pieces to a jigsaw puzzle scattered about on a tabletop, we don’t yet fully recognize how they will all fit together to complete the biblical picture of the end times for Israel. In one grouping of pieces, we see the world’s obsession with Israel and Jerusalem, precisely as the prophet Zechariah predicted for the last days (12:1-3). The purpose of the upcoming UN Conference on Palestine’ set for June 2-4, is to set in motion a two-state solution to resolve the Middle East conflict. The member nations hope to impose their seven or ten-year peace accord upon Israel during the UN’s celebration of its 80th birthday this coming September. The UN initiative also calls for an immediate ceasefire of all hostilities in the region, with Israel giving up all the territory it acquired in the Six-Day War of 1967, including East Jerusalem. Obstacles While the upcoming meetings at the UN point us in the direction of Daniel’s seventieth week (see Daniel 9:27), they don’t quite get us there; something is missing. First, we notice at least two key obstacles that stand in the way of the UN imposing its will on Israel. First, President Trump opposes the two-state solution offered by the UN. In addition, he has promoted the ideas of clearing all the Palestinians out of Gaza, settling them in other Arab nations, and creating a Palestinian State within the borders of Saudi Arabia. He has established a starting point for negotiations that’s far afield from the tried and failed solutions of the past. Second, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will certainly refuse the UN plan. He has oftentimes rejected the idea of a return to pre-1967 borders, recognizing that such a solution would be suicidal for the Jewish people living in Israel, and he’s absolutely correct! With the backing of a popular and highly influential US President, Netanyahu stands on firm ground in his resistance to the UN plan. The Antichrist Will Confirm the Covenant Furthermore, the Bible tells us that the antichrist will confirm the upcoming peace covenant with Israel, which initiates Daniel’s seventieth week, the seven-year Tribulation for the world. Daniel 9:27 mentions the “many,” which suggests the inclusion of other nations in the deal. However, they are not the ones who will impose the prophetic peace accord upon Israel such as the UN intends to do later this year. The two prominent participants in the biblical peace accord will be the antichrist and Israel. In Isaiah 28:14-22, the Lord admonishes Israel for entering into a future “covenant of death,” which is almost certainly a prophecy concerning the accord the nation will make with the antichrist. God will judge the nations for dividing the Land (Joel 3:1-3), but He will hold Israel’s leaders responsible for agreeing to the antichrist’s terms. In other words, Israel will agree to the deal that kicks off Daniel’s last week; it’s not something the nations will impose upon Israel apart from the consent of its leaders. The Hidden Piece The missing piece to all that we see happening with the UN, Israel, and Jerusalem is the Rapture. It’s the key piece that enables the completion of the puzzle. It’s possible that the coming “man of lawlessness” is already involved in some way with the UN Conference on Palestine. However, he cannot take center stage on the world scene until after Jesus removes His church from it (2 Thessalonians 2:3-8). In the meantime, we might have guesses concerning his identity, but we cannot know for sure. Because the Lord is restraining him at the moment, he can’t lead the peacemaking negotiations until after we are gone. The Rapture will also remove the US as a key obstacle to the UN plan. The ensuing chaos will instantly remove America as a world power and greatly limit its ability to defend Israel. I believe that the Gog/Magog invasion will happen after the Rapture as the participants take advantage of a greatly weakened US. The radically changed landscape of the post-Rapture world will also give the antichrist the perfect opening to convince a war-weary Israel to agree to his covenant of peace. After the Gog/Magog war, he will be able to make his deal all the more appealing by allowing for the rebuilding of the third temple, which Israel greatly desires at the moment but won’t receive as a part of the UN Conference on Palestine, which will likely take away their access to the Temple Mount. Of course, the current UN agenda for Israel and Jerusalem is prophetically significant. I always expected the Rapture would occur before I heard even any mention of a possible seven-year peace accord with Israel. The fact that the nations of the world are considering such a plan tells us we surely live in biblical times. Until the Rapture occurs, the UN’s plan seems headed for failure. After that, however, the antichrist will be free to take control of the negotiations and make Israel an offer they will not refuse. 7. Adhoc, I do agree with you and believe the Tribulation is for 7 years and the Great Tribulation will be 3 1/2 years.
  8. I used this devotion book for years! We also have "Morning by Morning" He was a great man of God..
  9. The Bible tells us there must be a seven-year period when God again turns His attention to the Jewish people and Jerusalem. The length of this still future time comes the prophet Daniel who specified seventy weeks of years during which time the Lord will complete His redemptive purposes for choosing Israel (Daniel 9:24-27). Why am I so confident that the last week of Daniel’s prophecy awaits a future fulfillment? It’s because the events that mark its beginning and midpoint have never happened in human history. Daniel 9:27 KJV – “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” This last seven-year period will begin with a “prince” (9:26) establishing a seven-year peace agreement with Israel. Perhaps the most notable aspect of Daniel’s prophecy regarding the seventieth week is the ending of temple sacrifices, which the prophet later refers to as the “abomination that makes desolate” (Daniel 12:11). Does it make sense that there’s a long gap between the sixty-ninth and seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy? Yes, the text itself tells us that that last week would not immediately follow the cutting off of the Messiah. Daniel 9:25-26 KJV – “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” Bible scholars have calculated that the sixty-ninth week ends exactly on the very day Jesus rode into Jerusalem just days before His crucifixion. This fulfilled the prophet’s words that after the next to last “week,” the Messiah would “cut off, but not for himself.” Please note that Daniel placed the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple during the interlude between the final weeks. This necessitates a gap of at least forty years before the start of the seventieth week, which we read about in Daniel 9:27. That leads me to the next question: how do we know that the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy didn’t occur in the first century AD or anytime since then? It’s been two thousand years since the end of the sixty-ninth one, is it possible that the last week still remains unfulfilled? Yes, absolutely! Jesus Placed Daniel’s Last Week in the Future Four centuries after the time of Daniel, Antiochus Epiphanes came to power and subsequently desecrated the second Jewish temple by setting up idols in it and offering pigs on its altar. Although the actions of Antiochus Epiphanes foreshadowed the words of Daniel 9:27, they didn’t fulfill the prophecy. First, Antiochus defiled the temple during the first sixty-nine weeks rather than during the last seven-year period of years in Daniel’s prophecy (9:24-27). That alone disqualifies his actions from contention. Second, two centuries later, Jesus referred to Daniel prophecy of the temple’s desecration as a still future event: Matthew 24:15 KJV – “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” As He answered His disciples’ questions pertaining to the end of the age, the Lord referred to the key event of Daniel’s seventieth week as a literal and still future event and one that would signal the nearness of His Second Coming. Today, most Bible teachers and pastors claim that the Roman General Titus fulfilled the seventieth week of Daniel when he destroyed both Jerusalem and the temple. However, this is impossible for several reasons: The Lord told Daniel that Titus’ siege of Zion would happen in-between the last two weeks, not during the last one. There’s no record whatsoever of a peace agreement between the Roman general and Israel such as must happen to start the seventieth week of Daniel. Daniel tells us that the coming “prince” would defile the temple, not destroy it. The key detail that Paul adds to the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15. The Lord Himself Will Destroy the Desolator In 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul identifies the one who will desecrate the temple as the “man of lawlessness,” the one we refer to today as the “antichrist.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 KJV – “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” The apostle reveals that the coming desolator will blaspheme the Lord, sit in the “temple of God,” and “proclaim himself to be God.” Then Paul adds one critical detail about the one who will commit Daniel’s “abomination of desolation” at the midpoint of Daniel’s seventieth week: 2 Thessalonians 2:8 KJV – “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:” At His return to earth, Jesus Himself will destroy the “man of lawlessness” whom the apostle had just identified as the one who would desecrate of the temple and thus fulfill the words of Daniel 9:27. This also disqualifies Titus as the one who would fulfill the words of the prophet and of Jesus in Matthew 24:15 because two things must be true in order to identify Titus as the one to fulfill this prophecy. First, Jesus would’ve returned to the earth in about AD 73-74, or three and a half years after Titus destroyed the temple. This gap for the last half of the seventieth week perfectly coincides with the time of the “great tribulation” that Jesus said would happen between it and the Second Coming (Matthew 24:15-31). Second, the Lord Himself would’ve killed Titus at His return in AD 73-74. However, we know from history that Titus died of natural causes in AD 81. And if the desecration of the Temple didn’t happen before or during the time of this Roman general, and it did not, then it couldn’t possibly have occurred since then because there has never been another Jewish temple. The Apostle John Placed the Desolator’s Demise At Jesus’ Return In Revelation 13:6, John tells us that the coming beast, whom we today identify as the antichrist, will open “its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling.” This is the guy of Daniel’s prophecy (9:27 and 11:36) as well as the one Jesus referred to Matthew 24:15. He is the “man of lawlessness” of 2 Thessalonians 2. In Revelation 19:19-20, John provides an eyewitness of the future destruction of this future beast that will desecrate the Jewish temple: Revelation 19:19-20 KJV – “And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Just as the Apostle Paul prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:8, Jesus Himself will destroy the “desolator” of Daniel 9:27 at His Second Coming. He will cast him into the lake of fire. No one has ever fulfilled all that we know about Daniel’s “abomination of desolation” from Matthew 24:15 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8. The Witness of Irenaeus (AD 130-202) Irenaeus, an early church leader and prominent theologian, wrote Against Heresies in AD 180 to combat the spread of Gnosticism. It’s noteworthy that he was born in Smyrna and received his training in the faith by Polycarp, whom the Apostle John himself discipled. In Against Heresies, book 5, chapter 30, section 4, Irenaeus wrote these words: But when the antichrist shall have devastated all things in this world, he will reign for three years and six months, and sit in the temple in Jerusalem; and then the Lord will come from heaven in the clouds, in the glory of the Father, sending this man and those who follow him into the lake of fire; but bringing in for the righteous times of the kingdom. This quote reveals significant details about Irenaeus’ beliefs about the future temple: Writing 110 years after Titus destroyed the second temple, he wrote that there would be a future temple in Jerusalem. Irenaeus stated that the antichrist would “sit in the temple in Jerusalem” exactly as Paul said he would do in 2 Thessalonians 2:4. He predicted that Jesus Himself would destroy the antichrist at His Second Coming, which aligns with what both Paul and John wrote about the one who would desecrate the temple. Although Irenaeus’ words are not Scripture, it’s more than a little significant that this highly respected second century AD theologian believed there would be a third temple in Jerusalem in which a still future world leader would sit and defile before his destruction at Jesus’ return to the earth. Why Does This Matter For Us Today? Does the fact that Daniel’s seventieth week awaits a future fulfillment matter of us today? It does because of the following reasons: The Lord’s purposes for Israel remain incomplete Since the seventieth week of Daniel has not yet happened, it signifies that the Lord’s purposes for Israel remain in place. His redemptive purposes for Jewish people and Jerusalem remain incomplete based on the words of Daniel 9:24. Daniel 9:24 KJV – “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” Those who say that God has rejected Israel must also fit Daniel’s seventieth week into the events of the first century, which according to the words of Jesus, Paul, and John is impossible. According to Daniel 9:24, the Lord’s redemptive purposes for both His “people” and Jerusalem remain incomplete and await a future fulfillment. 2. Modern-day Israel fulfills Bible prophecy In order for the seventieth week of Daniel to start, Israel must exist as an established nation and because of threats to its future, be willing to agree to the future covenant of peace offered by the antichrist. The nation must also possess the city of Jerusalem and have both the means and passion to build the third temple. These things are all true. If one were to write a script for what must happen before the last week of Daniel’s prophecy begins, one couldn’t do better than what’s now happening in the Middle East. The only thing missing is Israel’s access to build on the temple mount, which most students of Bible prophecy believe will be a part of the coming peace agreement with the “man of lawlessness.” 3. There must be seven-year Tribulation Since Daniel’s seventieth week awaits a future fulfillment, there must be a future seven-year period of turmoil on the earth when the Lord will turn His attention to Israel and bring a remnant of His people to repentance. Jeremiah famously referred to it as the time of “Jacob’s trouble” (30:7). John placed the beast’s defilement of the temple in the midst of the judgments he wrote about in Revelation chapters 6-18 and wrote that the Lord would allow him to “exercise authority for forty-two months” (Revelation 13:5-6). This fits perfectly with the time of “great tribulation” Jesus said would happen between the desecration and His return (Matthew 24:15-31). 4. The Church doesn’t belong in the Tribulation If the Lord’s purpose of Daniel’s seventieth week is to complete His purposes for Israel, and it is, does that mean the church age must end before its start? Yes, it does! In other articles, I have written at length citing biblical evidence supporting the pre-Tribulation Rapture. The purpose of Daniel’s seventy weeks further supports the Church’s absence during the Tribulation. The purpose of the entire seven years along with many Bible passages such as 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10 enable us to confidently place the Rapture before entire seventieth week, which the Old Testament also identifies as the beginning of the Day of the Lord. 10. Many people say that today is no different than any other time in history. “Sure, things look bad now, but this was also the case during World Wars I and II. Things have a way of working out so that things eventually return to some semblance of normal.” I understand why many question Jesus’ soon return given the fact that it’s been two thousand years since He promised to return. In spite of the long wait, I’m convinced that Jesus’ appearing is imminent because of the myriad of signs telling us that the Tribulation period is right on our doorstep. I have compiled a list of 12 signs that tell us we are rapidly running out of normal. If you are weary of waiting and long for the day when you will meet Jesus in the air, I am writing to encourage you; He’s coming soon. If you doubt that the Rapture will happen anytime soon, please take some time to review the following points and read the supporting links. 1. ISRAEL’S MIRACULOUS REBIRTH AS A NATION Did you know that Isaac Newton predicted that Israel would reappear as a nation? Based on his in-depth study of the books of Daniel and Revelation, he made that startling prediction over 250 years before it happened. Newton correctly recognized that the fulfillment of biblical end times prophecies requires Israel’s renewed existence. He also wrote that Israel would build a third temple once it became a nation. On May 14, 1948, Israel miraculously became a nation again. The amazing rebirth of Israel fulfilled the words of Isaiah 66:8, which predicted that it would happen in a “day.” Only God could resurrect a nation that had not existed for two-thousand years, supernaturally protect it amid countless wars, and bring it to a place of prosperity such as Israel enjoys today. Did I mention that only God could do such a thing? Israel’s remarkable rebirth makes today different than any time previous to May 1948. 2. THIRD TEMPLE FEVER Scripture tells us that the antichrist will defile a still future Jewish temple (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). In a recent article, The Biblical Necessity of a Third Jewish Temple, I demonstrate why the building of the third Jewish temple is a necessity for the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. If we can trust the words of Scripture, there must be a third temple in Jerusalem by the midpoint of the coming seven-year Tribulation. That’s when the Bible says the antichrist will desecrate it. Do we see evidence today that this will happen? Absolutely! Just ten years ago, few people could have imagined today’s passion in Israel for the building of their temple. Did you catch the celebration in Jerusalem when the five perfect red heifers arrived there from Texas? The Law requires one perfect red heifer for the purification of the temple and its priests. The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has spent over thirty years researching and preparing furnishings for the third temple. They are currently training Levites to serve as priests in it. The Israeli government is planning infrastructure for the coming temple, which includes a train that will run from the Ben Gurion Airport to the temple mount as they expect a great many visitors will want to visit the new temple. Israel plans to complete this rail system in April of 2023. This alone makes 2022-2023 far, far different. 3. KICKING AND READY In October, I wrote Globalism, War, Economic Turmoil, Devaluing Human Life — The Day of The Lord Is Looming. In it, I provided evidence for just how close the world is to the conditions described in Revelation 6:1-8. These verses describe what’s commonly referred to as the “four riders of the Apocalypse.” They are kicking in their stall, ready to start their trek across the planet. Revelation 6:8 says that the death toll from the chaos caused by these riders will total one-fourth of the world’s population, which today would be two billion people. World events today demonstrate just how easily the seal judgments could result in such a high death toll. 4. DIGITAL CURRENCY If people can buy and sell goods on a cash basis, it would be impossible for the antichrist to control commerce in the way that Revelation 13:16-18 predicts. The fulfillment of this prophecy requires the elimination of cash, and that is precisely what we see in our world. The New York Federal Reserve in the U.S. recently began a twelve-week pilot program evaluating the use of a digital dollar using credit card companies and global banks. Leo Hohmann, a blogger, author, and investigative reporter, wrote this about the coming digital currency: “I believe the new Central Bank Digital Currency, or CBDCs, will make their debut in 2023. And this digital currency will tie in directly with the digital health certificates on people’s cellphones in what will become a personal dossier on every individual, tracking and monitoring their movements and behaviors.” The normality of using cash for purchases is slipping away and with it any privacy regarding our finances. The digital currency will enable governments to monitor how we spend our money and soon after that, they will control it. Both India and China are rapidly moving toward a digital currency. 5. DIGITAL HEALTH PASSPORTS At the November 2022 meeting of G20 nations in Indonesia, leaders of the largest economies in the world agreed to work together to implement a “digital health passport” that will begin by tracking everyone’s vaccine status and expand from there. This is also an absolute necessity for what the antichrist has planned for the latter half of the Tribulation. His system must instantly recognize whether one truly has his mark on them, and it will. Below is the path that elite powerbrokers of our world have laid out for the future: Eliminate cash through a worldwide digital currency Combine one’s online identity for banking with a digital health passport Monitor all spending, which is simple with the coming Central Bank Digital Currency Reward or punish people based on their spending habits Totally control all spending Implement what we refer to as the mark of the beast (Revelation 13) We already see many of these things in China. 6. MARK OF THE BEAST TECHNOLOGY Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, along with the development of gigantic computer databases, also makes today unique from any other previous time in history. Prior to these technical advances of the past dozen years or so, the antichrist would have needed an exceedingly large number of people in every nation on earth in order to enforce the requirement of his mark for all buying and selling. It would have been impossible. Now, with recent advances in AI and the 5G global network, the technology exists for one person to set the parameters and thus control commerce everywhere in the world. These technical innovations not only make the fulfillment of Revelation 13:16-18 possible, but also increasingly likely when one considers the agenda of the globalists! 7. IS IT REALLY HUMAN? How will the coming man of lawlessness exercise the complete control over the earth’s population such as we see in Revelation 13 and elsewhere in Scripture? The answer is transhumanism. Transhumanism is the combination of humans with machines and it’s not only something that the antichrist needs, but it’s also a high priority of the WEF and all the many nations that are now committed to its Great Reset. Please refer to Transhumanism: Marching Toward the Mark in which I explain how the globalists’ development of technology for this dovetails perfectly with the fulfillment of Revelation 13:16-18. Did you know that Joe Biden recently signed an executive order requiring Americans to comply with the push for transhumanism? Transhumanism is a necessary for controlling people in the coming kingdom of the antichrist. 8. THE SOON ARRIVAL OF ONE-WORLD GOVERNANCE The books of Daniel and Revelation predict that in the last days a worldwide government will exist and that for a short time, the antichrist will rule over it (Daniel 7:23-25 8:18-26; Revelation 13:1-18). The UN’s Agenda 2030 is all about establishing a global governance by 2030 if not well before that year. The Great Reset of the World Economic Forum (WEF), also known as Build Back Better, is the economic companion of Agenda 2030 and both groups have united in their push to establish a one world government. The rapidly forming one-world government only remains a secret to those who don’t want to believe that it’s happening. 9. THE WORSHIP OF CREATION RATHER THAN THE CREATOR In the book of Revelation, we see the presence of a one-world religion under the leadership of the false prophet. Do we see the rise of such a unified religion today? Absolutely! The stage is fully prepared. In November 2022, religious leaders from all over the world reenacted the giving of the Ten Commandments. However, the top ten things on their minds consisted of worshipping nature, that of preserving their god. Combating climate change has become the religion bringing together many diverse faiths as they worship the creation rather than the Creator. 10. WHEN THE WORLD WOBBLES Since 2001, the earth’s magnetic north pole has been moving. An article on the Forbes Magazine website, Earth’s Magnetic North Pole Is Shifting Dramatically From A Powerful Tug Of War, discussed how this shift has speeded up in recent years. Why do I include this in the list of 12 signs? It’s because of warnings of what happens when the pole shift may reach forty degrees. That’s the point at which the north and south poles will swap places.[iii] What’s so significant about this? The Bible tells us that during the Tribulation period, the world will wobble (see Isaiah 24:19-20 and Revelation 6:12-17). I find it more than a little curious that what many predict will happen at the time of the pole shift matches what these prophetic passages say will happen during the Day of the Lord. It’s much more than a coincidence. 11. YOU DON’T REALLY BELIEVE THAT DO YOU? 2 Peter 3:2-4 says that scoffers will arise in the “last days” that will mock our hope in Jesus’ soon return. Jude 17-18 also warns of “scoffers” that will come in the last days that will ridicule our hope. This time has surely arrived! It’s commonplace today for people to mock our hope in Jesus’ soon appearing. Sadly, even believers and leaders of churches have also joined the chorus of naysayers. It’s because of this mocking that I included two chapters on church history in my book, The Triumph of the Redeemed. Scoffers today use the relative newness of the word “Rapture” to reject the event that Paul describes for us in 1 Corinthians 15:51-58, Philippians 3:20-21, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11, and Titus 2:11-14. It’s as if the term itself discredits the words of the apostle in these passages. Such mocking is all about Satan deceiving people into believing that there’s no such event as Jesus’ appearing to take His church to glory. Don’t fall for his lie. 12. PERILOUS TIMES ON STEROIDS ARE HERE We live during a time of perilous times on steroids. While the characteristics of this that Paul lists in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 have always been evident in some ways since the time he wrote, they now define our world just as the apostle said they would in the last days. More than at any previous time, we see these nineteen characteristics abounding throughout the world. This is something I have written about many times. RUNNING OUT OF THE OLD NORMAL MEANS THAT JESUS’ GLORIOUS NEW NORMAL IS EVER SO CLOSE Just as with King Belshazzar of Babylon, the handwriting is on the wall (see Daniel 5). Perhaps the end will not come as swiftly as it did for this ancient king (the Medes and Persians killed him just hours after Daniel interpreted God’s message). The signs, however, reveal that God’s judgment will soon fall on this world. After the Rapture of the church, God’s wrath will devastate the world. The good news is that the glorious new normal that Jesus is bringing will last forever. When Jesus returns and reigns over the earth from Jerusalem, we will experience life in a glorious kingdom as we reign with Him for a thousand years. This will be a “new normal” worth celebrating (and we surely will), but the future is even brighter and more joyous! Revelation 21-22 describes the most blissful set of circumstances imaginable. Refuse to be satisfied with the fake “new normal” that the world offers. Once we meet Jesus in the air and return to glory with Him, what we see then will make our very best days in this life seem mundane and boring.Jonathan Brentner
  11. Maranatha,please Lord Jesus,come!
  12. I know the rewards but how sad if we miss some because we don't pay attention how we serve the Lord..
  13. Not everybody might get all the crowns, depends on our life done here for Jesus? Or do we all get them all because of our Salvation? ( never really thought about this before :)
  14. I know that, but do you realize the consequence? Look what the elders did with their rewards...they were able to give them back to Jesus, wouldn't you feel awful if you didn't have any to give back to Jesus?
  15. Well Dennis, that person can still be in heaven but is he/she missing out of the reward of rejoicing for the Lord or what if he didn't get any rewards but is just saved without having a chance to get those rewards? I know its just speculating what we're doing,I don't think the Bible talk about this?
  16. Revelation 4:10 says, "the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever". They then cast their crowns before the throne and sing a song So ,we don't get the crowns to keep them,I know that ,we cast them before the Throne,so the crowns we are are getting are rewards of being able to worship Jesus,if a person is not rejoicing in the Lord right now,how would that work with the crown of rejoicing?
  17. It should not be our priority to to get rewards to serve the Lord, but it will be an honour to cast them on His feet, wouldn't it? Revelation 4:10 says, "the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever". They then cast their crowns before the throne and sing a song.
  18. Can you post this in the right area please?
  19. Keep your eyes on Jesus, that's where faith grows, without Him we're nowhere, don't give the enemy a chance to discourage you, this world is not our home,we're just traveling trough. Jesus is our everything, all power belongs to Him! So easy to look back to self to fix things but really we should ask Jesus first before we try to fix our problems...
