There are several views on end time theology, but personally, I like to look at it this way: The Lord is the God who declares the end of a thing from the beginning of it. So I find it much easier to search out the prophecies by starting at the end and working backwards. Is the Lord sitting on His throne in Jerusalem with His church governing the world? No, so what is supposed to happen immediately before that.................................................working backward until today. It helps me quite a lot to keep it organized in my mind.

The Lord used wine, and He said that "this" is the new covenant in my blood. Personally, I don't much credit anything counterfeit. I prefer the wine.

Where in scripture is the Lord Christ limited to only one more time that He's allowed to pop in and show His face? He's not running on a nearly exhausted book of tickets, He's God. He can take His church off the earth for the marriage supper of the Lamb, and He can return at the appointed time to claim His throne in Jerusalem, with His Bride, on a full stomach. I hear He is visiting muslims in person these days. Many of them in Egypt. He may tap me on the shoulder at any time and take me home. Who knows? We should be prepared to meet Him today, as we are not necessarily given to be around to watch the end time issues unfold before our eyes, much as it is fun to discuss it and desireable to see.

I believe that The Revelation is describing a spiritual conflict. It will necessarily involve political and economic forces in its working out. At some stage, I see that all churches will be required to be registered to gain official recognition. Of course, that already happens within denominations. I cannot, so I do not participate. The danger I see in focusing on a physical "mark of the beast' is that we could overlook the spiritual significance of what is happening. This is why I use the KJV, because of the symbolic consistency throughout it. Where the NIV and others call the city as sitting on seven hills, the KJV reads "seven mountains". In the KJV, mountains represent nations in this context and therefore this city Babylon the Great is headed by seven nations and is not a literal city like Rome. She is an Engine of economic and substantial gain. Babylon the Great is every endeavor and undertaking of men wherein God is not credited and acknowledged. Her seven heads are seven nations, not seven hills, nor is the harlot any religious group. She is not at all associated with God, which is why she is called a harlot. To lust after the things of the world and not honor God for them or seek Him for them is spiritual harlotry. (in other examples of symbolic consistency in the KJV, the word dragon always refers to a serpent, stars in the symbolic sense always refer to angels, and the waters on which the woman sitteth are peoples, nations, multitudes, and tongues, or in other words, the whole world.) I believe the greek word for "mark" means a literal mark, be it a tattoo or a chip, that is a mark of ownership like a brand on livestock. To receive it willingly is the same thing as granting ownership of your person to the owner of the mark. All takers become the property of the state, and after that the property of the antichrist when he makes it mandatory. God is a jealous God, so ergo, the mark of the beast is a certain passage to hell, do not pass go, do not collect 200 shekels of silver.

Islamics, I expect, are the gentiles who will trample Jerusalem and the outer court of the temple underfoot for the prescribed 1260 days. Only they have the numbers, proximity and the requisite hatred to accomplish what is set out in prophecy for Jerusalem.

There is a danger in being too open minded. If you open your mind too wide your whole head falls in, and that looks really really stupid when you're walking down the street. Besides that, its quite difficult to pull your head back out when you are limp wristed, and the scent of lavender is seriously confusing when your head is confined to such a small tight enclosure. I hear this makes one quite dizzy.

Hi Kat, you probably have loads of spyware, which is the ususal reason computers get really slow. Try downloading Windows Defender from Microsoft Update, and run a scan. It will clean out most all of the spyware. As to your printer, click "start", then "control panel", then "printers and other hardware" at the top right corner of the window. If your printer is listed in that panel then it is installed, If you don't see it listed there, it has not been properly installed. If the printer is USB, just plug it in to the computer and switch it on, and Windows should notice it and ask if you want to install the software for it.
