What Happens When You End Your Day with Gratitude?
enoob57 replied to Kye Conner's topic in General Discussion
After the example God has shown us in Satan... it is so evil to take that which is given as though it were not... thankfulness toward God is merely walking in the light as He 'IS' the light... -
Poll: What Causes Someone to Become a Child of God?
enoob57 replied to Vine Abider's topic in General Discussion
I noticed someone voted for works... all I ask is how could this happen? Matthew 7:21 (KJV) [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. [24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. The question may arise isn't God omniscience? Here's how this works: These people were basing their salvation on what they do or their works and there is only one place where works are judged for salvation. It is the Great White Throne of God- Revelation 20:11 (KJV) [11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Here is where God burns up all of first creation [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Now God has already told us this- Titus 3:5 (KJV) [5] Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; So, we know not even one here will make it by their works or that would make God a liar and we know- Hebrews 6:18 (KJV) [18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Here is the criteria to be saved Revelation 20:15 (KJV) [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. To answer why God does not retain them in memory is after this above God removes all memory of the first creation Knowledge will cease by removal: 1Cor 13:8 Rev 21:1-5 Isa 65:17 Some contend that the earth will be renovated but according to God's Word 'all things will be made new' ... God is going to make all things new 1. new things, Isa 42:9 Isaiah 48:6 2. new song, Isa 42:10 (cf. Rev 5:9; 14:3 3. something new, Isa 43:19 (cf. Rev 3:12) 4. new name, Isa 62:2, Rev 3:12 (cf. Isa 56:5) 5. new heavens and a new earth, Isa 65:17 Isa 66:22 (cf. 2 Peter 3:13) The "new" day (cf. Rev 21:5) was, in reality, the day that God always wanted for humans, but the Fall in Gen 3 caused a terrible disruption! It is surely possible that the Bible's imagery of heaven is a restored Garden of Eden (cf. Rev 21:2). To answer this succinctly->And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. -> God was speaking from His present in the eternal state... -

You have to know the truth in order to be set free from lie... God has established His truth in creation... God has established His truth in His Word... God is truth in His Living Word 'Jesus'.... The foundation of His Word will produce faith, that faith will cry out to God to be saved... Romans 10:17 (KJV) [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Revelation 3:20 (KJV) [20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. -
did it have bare lard in it

only took one to kill 185,000 in one night ....

The existence of sin was formed in lie and has nothing of God or God's purpose espoused... the overarching of eternal state makes that perfectly clear... God has never been thwarted and that which rebelled did so with His absence forever without end...

There is really not much said about the eternal state... the millennium when we will be ruling with Jesus over the nations... but the new heaven and earth this 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) [9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

in the eternal state there will not be limits... a place of no boundaries and no no's... and people are worried that it will be boring

wait till we all get home... it will be absolutely free

@slave Scripture leads us into truth and all of it is required for us to arrive at said truth in this way... Isaiah 28:10 (KJV) [10] For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: This is how God has structured His Word and in one part such as you have quoted it appears that Abraham and Job were righteous by their deeds -however- God writes this in His New Testament Romans 3:23 (KJV) [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; As God cannot lie Hebrews 6:18 (KJV) [18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Therefore, we must consider their righteousness to be that of Christ's and not actually their own works... here it is spelled out specifically Romans 3:20-26 (KJV) [20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. [21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; [22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Just the obvious truth God has told us: 1 Corinthians 8:2 (KJV) [2] And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. by this verse alone leads us to always look to Jesus for our perfection and never to ourselves through our own effort!!!

Yes, I would agree with your thoughts on this... as we learn what sin truly is 'a self centered desiring of the pleasure over all else' and the fruit from that .... we begin to understand why God would never allow it into Himselves and in this place our love begins to blossom and bear fruit in Him... It is one thing to obey blindly by fear of recompense it is another out of agreement and true desire...

1 John 4:18 (KJV) [18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1 John 2:15 (KJV) [15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. By living in God's value system we learn the true value -that which is being kept forever... mens souls and God's Word...

The old heaven and earth will be burnt up at the begin of Great White Throne Revelation 20:11 (KJV) [11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. After the GWT judgment God begins His eternal state of GOOD... Revelation 21:1 (KJV) [21:1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Verse four is the removal of all that existed in first heaven and earth creation -'ALL'- Eternal state begins verse five...

Why is this called a “new” commandment?
enoob57 replied to Stewardofthemystery's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
I have to disagree with your reasoning of this OO... Respectfully God's Word says He fulfilled the law perfectly: Hebrews 4:15 (KJV) [15] For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. The Bible is clear Jesus was 100% God / Man 'yet without sin' and this: James 2:10 (KJV) [10] For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
