Realizing that our desire for self-gratification in a perverted pleasure of fulfillment and what it cost God should have brought repentance of what we were, spiritually dead soulish creatures... The fact that God loved us to provide newness of life became in us a new man by entrance of Holy Spirit into our being... if no such repentance occurred should bring concern Mark 2:17 (KJV) [17] When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Acts 11:18 (KJV) [18] When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. Acts 26:20 (KJV) [20] But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV) [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 2 Timothy 2:25 (KJV) [25] In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; etc.

I'm talking about the book of Job... I have no idea what you are talking about!

Then in the narrative you would understand this is taking place in Heaven and God wanted us to know about it! So, whoever the writer of Job God gave them this inspiration of event...

Well, that is what Adam claimed Genesis 3:20 (KJV) [20] And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. So, if there were any prior to Eve this would be a lie .... Scripture tells us Genesis 2:18 (KJV) [18] And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. God clearly says Adam was alone... no others existed or this would be false statement Biblically there is no such thing you are claiming...

This group with satan amoung them presented themselves before God and we know God is in the heaven and they were called 'sons of God' Job 1:6 (KJV) [6] Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. This speaking of the creation of stars 4th day leaves only angels possible as man wasn't created till the 6th day... Job 38:7 (KJV) [7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

My understanding is the Breath of God was Spiritual essence of God which animated the dirt and housed a soulish being s/Spiritually connected to God in the image of God... Genesis 2:7 (KJV) [7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. The parts of that creation is clearly outlined for us in NT 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV) [23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Adam and Eve rebelled in that essence and ate they lost that s/Spiritual connection and the children they produced was no longer God's image but in Adams image Genesis 5:1-2 (KJV) [1] This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; [2] Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. distinction Genesis 5:3 (KJV) [3] And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: God can have no part with lie equaling sin for it is written 1 John 1:5 (KJV) [5] This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. [6] If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: His solution is clear remove all lie and the garment next to it... the eternity is set Revelation 21:1-5 (KJV) [1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Exodus 4:22 (KJV) [22] And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: [23] And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn. and speaking of David 2 Samuel 7:14 (KJV) [14] I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

As the family has brought out 'Sons of God' in Scripture refer to both angels and mankind... that is why in Genesis 6 it is impossible to distinguish which...

Did Paul exhort Christians to study the Apocrypha?
enoob57 replied to unworthyservant's topic in Theology
The best part of Scripture is God's Own seal of promise 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. To generalize the statement, it is all we need in this place... -
Also the fact in Jonah Jonah 4:11 (KJV) [11] And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

@Michael37 I like how George handles it... by breaking it down in smaller progressive components toward a complete thought... I think if people realized length equals fewer readers... -

The fact that there is nothing impossible for God Matthew 19:26 (KJV) [26] But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. understanding we are not to give place to the devil Ephesians 4:27 (KJV) [27] Neither give place to the devil. As God fills all place Ephesians 1:20 (KJV) [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, [21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: [22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23] Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Thus, when we give place to that which has no place we sink into the confusion of lie and are hindered from seeing clearly past the place of lie... Matthew 6:23 (KJV) [23] But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! [24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Thus- every single moment of every single day we are to choose whom we serve... Joshua 24:15 (KJV) [15] And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. This will entail giving no place to that which has no place even in the place that says it has place...

Yes, a real indwelt person of God will do real indwelt things -unless- he chooses to walk in flesh and not in s/Spirit. And this is the war that is in every Christian still here... Romans 7 quoted from Strong's concordance Satan's use of his created self to endorse lie 'as he could be god' was the beginning of rebellion- that all that would follow him would be of that craft...

That is one of the first basic tenants of hermeneutics that the Bible is written literally unless common sense or implied by passage other... Number one rule 'if the plain sense makes sense seek no other sense' ... God's Scripture was written to all men in all times till the end... context rules the study always! The most difficult thing in flesh warfare is the trying to justify ourselves by works as to being worthy to receive salvation... The motivation to love God, put there by The Holy Spirit, is the pure ascent to the reason of works John 14:21 (KJV) [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. When a person is saved- God's Places Himself within the inner man and life begins once more s/Spiritually... that life will be one of Love foremost unto God Himselves and then to others which fulfills all law... Matthew 22:37 (KJV) [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. It is this simple: if love 'God's Love' fulfills the Scripture (above) then not to love is sin... Your focus seems to be on wrong motives law law law ... it was never given to save but to condemn 'all'! Do to get is a devilish scheme driven into the heart of all who have began here... the overall teaching of Scripture is source and where that source is from John 8:23 (KJV) [23] And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Thus, motive should not be anything of here but where we are going... wanting to love Jesus back with the love He has placed within us... Galatians 5:18 (KJV) [18] But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. [19] Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. [22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. [24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. [25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. the monetary system of this world is basic lie... it convinces us that rocks (precious jewels), metal (gold, silver etc), paper (currency) is much more precious than food, which God supplies, and people are stealing, killing, lying and whatever else their imagination can do to obtain it ... what will it be like when the lie is removed and they see clearly this error? Romans 14:11 (KJV) [11] For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. [12] So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. This is written of the last of days: Matthew 24:7 (KJV) [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows. [9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. [10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. [11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. [12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

The creation perfectly represented the things of The Lord Romans 1:20 (KJV) [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: each day a new discovery and in the evening Adam and Eve would get their object lesson of the Spiritual realities of God Genesis 3:8 (KJV) [8] And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

That was in context speaking to the Disciples directly because they would pen the New Testament... completing God's Word to man... We are to study it, memorize it, rightly divide it 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) [15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
