  1. Welcome. Keep us up to date so we can have a rejoicing party.
  2. My heart goes out to you ladypeartree. But I truly can't help but believe that once you are the Lord's child you are always His. Yes there will be a reckoning but one is still His child. John 10:27-30 (New International Version,
  3. But the Arab world must be really worried. All the despots, dictators and "royal families", must be paying serious attention to what is happening. I don't know what this is the start of, but I think the Middle east will never quite be the same again after the dust settles. Nothing ever is the same after the dust settles. I just pray when it settles that the changes will be for the better. The Lord willing. We can only pray and know it is in God's hands.
  4. Awesome work OneLight. I agree with Fez. A new vocation from the Lord for the Lord....
  5. No one can even picture what He truly looks like. But when I think of Him I see a Father. That is one of the names He is given in the Bible over and over again. The best known prayer is Our Father who art in Heaven. Is it humanizing God by thinking of Him as someone like a Dad one that I can go to whenever I feel like I can take no more. Or one that I want to rejoice with. He is human to me not in the physical form but in my heart. He is also the Holy Spirit. I will not say what He looks like for I don't know but I know what He feels like to me. That is the image I have of Him. But I would like to know if anyone thinks it is humanizing God by thinking of Him in such a way? Blessings. I believe we are made in his image are we not? True we are other one and that is a comforting thought. I just don't want people to think I am trying to put the Lord on a lower level. He is above us above all comprehension (sp) but still like a Father to me.

  7. Oh I am going to enjoy following this post Fez. My image of God is one of a Father. When I go into my little prayer closet and draw close to Him, I see Him looking at me with a Fathers love. I don't put a face on it. More like a feeling. I am always sitting at His feet. I feel like I can crawl on to His lap anytime I want. It is so big and huge. Has to be for I come carrying baggage sometimes. Then He calmly takes the baggage and tosses it aside to make room for only me there on His lap. Then we talk and talk. He dries my tears and helps me laugh. Yep He is my Daddy. The biggest and fiercest Daddy of all. And His love is an all consuming warmth. What daughter wouldn't want to sit forever at the feet of a Father like that. Blessings Fez.
  8. I do hear a chorus of It is great how the Lord placed OneLight when he was needed. And then the tingles start..... PTL!!!!
  9. If man is still alive..... if woman can survive...... they may find...... sorry couldn't resist OneLight....
  10. Makes no difference where the wedding takes place. If it is a union by the Lord that is what matters. God isn't limited to churches. Blessings.
  11. Listened to both stories and both equally amazing and moving.
  12. You may want to go and have it looked at even if you don't get the root canal. At least you will be given something and told what to expect. Will pray for you.
  13. Still praying for you sister. I know all will work out according to the Lord's plan and then we all will rejoice with you.
  14. And another amazing testimony to the greatest love of all. Praise the Lord.
  15. I can really see how much you love the Lord Matt. Your works are an isnspiration. Keep doing good works for Him who loves you and your rewards will be waiting for you right beside Christ Jesus.
  16. Obama care I have found the smaller the town the better the care. The doctor that delivered two of my children was a Christian and a complete God send. For the longest of time he kept at bay the demands of "Big Brothers" offer of help... But soon he had to give in for his pratice started to suffer. I praise the Lord his bedside manner never changed. But he started having to like everyone here says "herding" the ppl. Broke my heart and I imagine his too. I now live in a new town and haven't found me a dr. yet. I figure my chances are pretty slim of finding one with good values. I pray the Lord will show me one.
  17. RGR I can truly see the Spirit of the Lord here in you. You have stuck with this lady and that will speak volumns to her as no other can about the strength of the Lords love. I wish I would of had a friend like that during my abusive marriage. The only thing that helped me leave was when he turned his anger on our daughter. I was gone the very next day when he left for work. But I wonder if I would still be there if not for that. I wasn't living for Christ then and really had no friends to help or family to confide in. Just keep reassuring her that you will be there. I know at times it gets frustrating but pray for wisdom and strength and He will give you and her what help is needed. All the advice everyone here has given is right on the spot. May God continue to bless you as you help one of His lost children. Blessings and will be praying.
  18. 100% in agreement. But let us do it with gentleness and wisdom. Too many times I have seen people turn away because of certain approaches that Believers use. God woo's them with love. I hope and pray that is how I will present it at any given opportunity. Blessings and a great post.
  19. I don't believe you are being selfish. You are being wise looking at the long range affect. They need to look at how it will affect all involved. I pray they will look deeper and see where you will be standing. You may feel you're letting them down but they also need to see both sides of said coin. Blessings sister and will pray the Lord provides a solution.
  20. Blessings Matt. What an awesome post. Seeing Christ as a man. One that loved his mom, Joseph the man who was there in his raising. Seeing and picturing Jesus struggling each day as we do. He was a little baby, then a toddler, then a young boy, then a teenager, then a young man, then an adult. All the stages we lived through. He laughed, cried, and rejoiced with all. I see him stopping to help someone in need. Such as carrying water or just plucking an apple from a tree for a child. Besides his awesome ministry he had his daily life. It makes his being the Son of God all the more powerful. Yes I sit and think about the human part of Jesus. And I see the wonderful awesome power of God at work showing us how to live through this very special man who happens to be the Son of God.
  21. Wait - someone here was advocating fornication?
